@thespindleshay: Andy Bell emailed gaydarradio to compliment them on the intvw with Adam.  " Awwww Andy Bell from Erasure!! He and Adam met on the previous promo tour !!! :D YAY! My wife's favorite singer (she even called her cat Andy), calling to comment on my favorite singer? I can't wait to tell her about it tomorrow ;D |

Quick question. I'm watching TV and an ad comes to purchase tickets for Madonna's new tour. They said for every ticket purchase, you will be given a copy of her new CD MDNA. Is this a normal practice, or is this a new marketing strategy for sales.??? If so, clever way to up her sales #'s I think it is a normal practice - I've got Mark Knopfler's "Kill To Get Crimson" CD for visiting his concert a few years ago, and last year went to Erasure's concert in Toronto and also got their last CD, even an Extended version with Demos and Remixes on a second disk. All this as part of the ticket price, which in both cases wasn't anywhere near Madonna's tickets. Given that I don't go to too many concerts and already got two CDs, I would assume it is not unusual... Other artists just sell their CDs at the venue. And I remember KISS selling a silver USB drive with the actual concert recorded live that evening 8-) |

I don't know, I think it'll be with someone really big, someone huge. The way he said it was like, if this voice collab happens, you'll be like woah! So I'm thinking it'll be big for us and him. And I don't think JJ, Katy, or Riri, etc. would get the "OMG I can't believe that this happened?!?!" exclamation. As long as we are tossing out possibilities... I know that aside from reams of unrecorded material Queen also has tapes with Michael Jackson from an unfinished collaboration. In the past I have heard Brian express the desire that they somehow find a way to finish the tracks. So Adam singing with Michael Jackson backed by Queen. Is that "really big, someone huge" enough? That would be HUGE! Ooooh, how I wish... fingers crossed. So Bowie, MJ or Queen, either of them with new material is big enough for me. |
