And then there are the times when you’d rather your iPad didn’t load….. Careful what you wish for  HA! I adore Adam and it is thrilling and interesting to see his professional career continue to grow in status and prestige. I was watching Janet Jackson perform the other night. At almost 60, she is still trying to look and act like the young pop divas. Dancing with a stage full of dancers and with weak vocal skills. Like Madonna. Adam is much younger but I thought, how lucky we are that he has the talent to perform, sing and rock and not look silly as he grows older. But tbh, I lost interest in his personal life when he is home and with boyfriends and friends many years ago. He and they are getting older (or maybe younger) but it is always the same ole party with grown men playing dress-up. svca said Joey does not look as if he fits in. To me, Adam does not look as if he fits in with any of them. But he needs and enjoys his private time off with friends so I just try to scroll and wait for the handsome, sexy and talented Adam to show up, without the usual crowd, and he will, lol. I am not sure I would say that Adam has the TALENT. To me, that implies it is innate. If you have been watching Angelina Kalahari's recent videos about Adam's singing, you will have a greater appreciation of how deep his training and skills are. There are so many techniques and considerations required to produce those sounds. He has cultivated that incredible voice with years of practice and study. It is because of that that he is able to so consistently perform at an excellent level without damaging his voice. And perform such a wide variety of styles and genres. Yet, it all seems just like it naturally comes out of him. |

I would't find much interest in an artist if I needed to rely on others to tell me what I like or should think about a performer or performance. But I'm sure Adam has always worked on his gifts and he has said as much. He doesn't beat you over the head with his training but he has mentioned it in some interviews. However, he still has a great talent to me with his vocals, emotion and showmanship. There have been times when I loved an Adam performance and we are all raving about it and then someone will say but he was flat or off key, lol. I completely missed what they heard but if I loved it, my opinion is never changed. Or when he gave that beautiful performance of ND and someone decided to judge it by opera standards. I still loved it so much. HA. I do understand that some are listening in ways and have an ear or training that I don't have. And I get that others like to dig deeper and they find enjoyment in that. Actually, I'm sorta glad I don't listen that way. I think it would take away from my Adam pleasure of just feeling the performance and appreciating his talent. |
