svca and girldrummer, I am thrilled for Adam that he had the opportunity to perform for his community the way he wanted to, and I think he nailed it.   It looks like it was well received and a great success - well deserved as Adam clearly put work and thoughts into it. In my opinion, it is best to ignore a few select naysayers.

I thought he looked perfect for the occasion. Somebody posted a video on FB and somebody commented that he's so talented, why does he need to dress like that? Um, have people actually seen the "outfits" for either Pride or for Mardi Gras? At least he had clothes on lol. I think some of Adam's fans would be perfectly happy if he just performed sitting on a stool a la WGWG, no dress up, no makeup...but that's never been Adam, and I don't think it ever will be Adam. Now, if he ever dressed in last night's outfit for the Kennedy Centers Honor event, it would give me pause lol, but for last night he looked perfect and fit right in. Adam is a professional and knows his audiences. He is always dressed accordingly. That outfit was hot and totally appropriate for the Mardi Gras. And, yes, as some one else posted somewhere, he had on more clothes than anyone else on the stage. And, IMO was the sexiest. LOOOVVVEEE him. |

Adam is a professional and knows his audiences. He is always dressed accordingly. That outfit was hot and totally appropriate for the Mardi Gras. I always find it funny that some think because they are half dressed they look sexy. I can think of three who need to keep their clothes on, Adam Levine, Troye Sivan and Sam Smith. They are so not sexy, imo. HA. I appreciate that Adam can exude sexiness without trying so hard or by taking his clothes off. And he knows that he will be noticed by just being there and also the difference between Mardi Gras sexy and the Oscars and QAL sexy. Heck, he was sexy as hell and garnered much attention in a three piece suit, singing Girl Crush before a conservative country audience, lol. |

Adam Lambert, the lead vocalist for the rock band Queen, was also there.
"Oh my gosh, the energy is amazing. I am really thrilled to be here. I was here for Mardi Gras I think 2011, it's been a while, a long time coming. I am performing tonight at the main party. I had a bunch of music remixed, it's all very club, it's very dance. I dropped a new song for tonight, just for Sydney. It's a brand new song."
