Like lurleene and many here, I am a fan for life. Adam is just too good to dismiss and move on to someone else. Not me, anyway. It is a puzzle about his musical focus. He must know as well as anyone about genre choice when to marketing yourself. Artists do it all the time. Look at the pop stars jumping over to country, at least temporarily. Adam is strongly committed to his community. Maybe he feels that he would be abandoning them if he jumped to rock, even for a while. But I have to believe that the gay community is open to all types of music, just like other fan bases are. IMO, it's all about "the song." If a certain song resonates with the public, no matter what the genre, that song is a hit. Happens all the time. I hope that the rock musical album he has talked about is still in the works in some way. And hopefully, the musical itself. Sometimes these things can take years. It's about commitment of those involved and, of course, funding. Adam is very lucky to have lots of lucrative side gigs, ie, judging, special events, one-offs here and there, and his outstanding animation performances. The UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. adore him and give him huge support. The US is often asleep at the wheel, unfortunately. He should be much more visible here.
I hope we are in for more surprises. I remember Fraggle Rock from back in the day. Didn't even know it was still around. I dont; get the Apple channel but maybe some vids will show up.

My kids now aged 37 to 42 loved Fraggle Rock. I imagine Adam also watched the show.

When Oliver made that statement (about the way they were dressed) that it was for them and not for you. This is "our world" or something like that. I thought, you are not a star or a celebrity so fine with not being interested in your world. You are a boyfriend and tho Adam loves you, you don't speak for him, the man that many of his fans have followed for many years. Well, maybe he was speaking for Adam? I will always adore Adam but that Pop, dancing, clubs and playing dress up and posting selfies crowd is so uninteresting to me. Adam has some great moves and I love it when he dances organically. However, his voice is the main attraction for me. Not at all interested in a bunch dancers or dance music unless he is doing a residency in Vegas or a song or two. So if the music is not for me this era, he has enough other projects that I will be more than interested in following. Speaking of dancing and clubs, I had to laugh when Miranda Lambert (country star for any who don't know her) was talking about her younger brother and his husband. When she wanted to show support and include them in her video, she said she had to check with him cause dancing in clubs was not her world, lol. She is one of the few country stars that I like. HA.
