Denmark is my family's homeland on my mother's side. I have never been there, but I have always viewed it as a beautiful, liberal country. Interesting that Oliver gives us a different side of this when it comes to treatment of gays. And that Law of Jante is pretty scary. I hope he has a good time with his family and friends. My guess is that he will dress a bit to provoke a reaction. We'll soon find out. Adam join him after the Voice stint is over, I assume.
Yesterday's thread about "who gets the attention" in the music industry is a common theme here. And it won't end any time soon. Adam's spectacular voice is not the only factor in reaching the top. We've learned that over and over.
As for Wet Dream and the AI issue, it doesn't bother me as a video, but I do see AI as a problem sometimes with authenticity. The song itself has graphic lyric that might hold it back, but it's a catchy, sexy song. I know lots of artists have songs with graphic lyrics. WD might cross the line? IDK.

I‘m regularly in Denmark and my cousin even moved there (from Germany) about 20 years ago. It’s a nice country with mostly happy and liberal people. But it’s also a very small country and therefore very protective of its history and way of life. Some years ago I also thought about moving there, but as a German (or also other countryman), who wants to immigrate, you will see that some Danes are suddenly not that friendly anymore and some I would call openly racists. I know, you can find some of them in every country, but since Denmark is so protective of its heritage (for instance, if you moved there, until recently, you had to take on a typical Danish surname!), I found them there more noticeable than in most other countries I‘ve visited. Denmark is a rather small though (only -5mio population) and most people are really friendly and open-minded. But in this small world I‘ve never so far seen someone dressed like Oliver. And we all know, how some people react, when they see/meet someone, who doesn’t fit into their view of the world.

Adam is such a sexy and handsome man. That brown shirt with an opening in the front is very sexy without looking sleezy. Love a sexy look (gay or straight, male or female).
I thought WD was fine for Pride but not sure it is a song Adam will try to push that hard. He or his team have failed to put much effort in pushing some of his great songs, with wonderful lyrics that are relatable to people in or out of his community. So I don't expect they will go all out for this one. I enjoyed his performance at Mardi Gras, tho, I don't view graphic lyrics as sexy or good music. But I guess the song was mainly for his community. I know LNX went far by pushing the envelope with explicit lyrics and OTT antics and dancing in short skirts but it seems that people are already bored with him. Adam has longevity and I'm sure he wants to expand but continue to keep the audience he has.
I was watching an interesting segment last night with great performers on XFactor and AGT in diffent countries at different times. They showed performances from Whitney, Mariah, Beyonce, Harry, Ed, Xtina, Gaga, Britney, Celine, Usher and many more. I was sitting there thinking Adam should be in this group. Then there he was with Queen singing Somebody To Love on XFUK I screamed, lol. My heart was full. Okay it was not a solo performance but can't complain about QAL. He was wonderful and even the contestants were impressed with his vocal abilities and style. Now that is how you get attention. HA. And I have to add, I'm not a fan of Harry Styles more Pop-ish music, but his performance of Sign of the Times (more alt/rock) was really good with emotion and range.
Hope Oliver has a wonderful time at home. I know he wants to express himself the way he wants but please don't provoke to the point that you get yourself attacked or someone around you hurt trying to come to your defense. My relative US-South (thru marriage) did that when he attended a party dressed in female clothing and a ton of makeup, knowing it would not be received well. But it was his right as a teenager, so he did. He was able to run away but his straight cousin, who was with him, ended up in the hospital trying to protect him. And you can't always expect someone else to put their safety in jeopardy by coming to your defense, so you need to be careful and aware and to stay safe.
