Well how about Splendour 2008 visitors Sigur Ros; Splendour 2010 alumni Passion Pit; and perhaps a return visit from SBTRKT? Yes, SBTRKT is currently touring with Laneway festival, but we all know that Splendour and Laneway have shared a few big acts in recent years – hello to Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, Yeasayer and Foals. As for the rest we can almost certainly rule out Rihanna, Adam Lambert and Green Day seem as Splendour contenders; Gym Class Heroes, New Order and Death Cab For Cutie all have upcoming Australian tours already locked in; and Grouplove were on the Splendour 2011 lineup (and returned for Falls). more..
