I swear yesterday in one of the interviews--not the Grammy ones--he said that him and Bruno were NOT vocal collabs?? I swear that came up recently?? And IDK, I think the demo is pretty dancey. Maybe not disco dancy, lol, but the Popjutsice guy said it was "ravular" which means it would be good music for a rave. What to ppl do at a rave? DANCE (Oh and drop E but whatever lol) And I have a feeling what they had the Popjustice guy listen to was a Adam recording of it--why would they do an album preview and have the reviewer listen to a DEMO from another artist? That makes no sense, so that's why I think the song is recorded and just i a rough state and they are tweaking it now, or that there is a whole other different song as well. I am hesitant to call this the BIG EXCITING FINGERS CROSSED collabo he is wishing for. You are right, chunkey. There was an interview where he said the collab with Bruno was not a vocal collab. But I think it was an older interview, not yesterday. And yes, Adam has already recorded this. I think it was just added as an album cut within the past two weeks, so I am guessing that now they are finishing the production of it. Remember, before he went to EU, in the interviews he did out of LA, he said the Bruno song might not make the album. Then in the EU interviews, he started talking about it and including it in the album talk. Maybe you're both talking about this interview? She is saying "you collaborated with Bruno Mars, are there ANY VOCAL collaborations" ? " Isn't that like a confirmation that he doesn't sing the song with Bruno? It's at about 1.10 |

www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCwayC68qDoFirst time I heard this demo I was not too crazy about it but now I really like it. I think with Adams vocals and a more pronounced beat it could be really good. I never get what people mean when they say something is dated. This sounds already like what is on the radio now. I may just not have an ear for this stuff, care to explain? I don't listen to nearly enough of this kind of music to answer that question, and I'd love to hear anyone else's take. Mys*&@^#r? But my totally uninformed response is that it's not very dated--it sounds to me a little like electronic music that got radio play a couple of years ago. Listening to Adam's DJ hour at NRJ just now, it occurred to me that an updated production might sound a little similar to Rihanna's We Found Love--a simple lyric amplified by synthy-buildups and a big ol' breakdown somewhere in the middle. But then I know that a lot of y'all hate that song ( ;D I kinda love it but recognize its faults)...  |
