mellie, not sure and I don't want to speak for someone I don't know but the way I read it is that she already won a M&G and wants to give other fans (newer & possibly younger) a chance to meet him rather than take the opportunity for herself when she's already been lucky enough to meet him.
Adam does love all his fans and I love your comparison to Madonna who at 53 would be mocked for being a Glambert... I think that's what's called irony ;D

Just curious. Does anyone know of any other Idol going to the Clive Davis party? Just read on another site that someone had not heard of any other Idol going. I would suspect that Jennifer Hudson would go though since she is worked with him on Dreamgirls.

CRAP!! I just lost a long-ass post. Not gonna post it all again. In a nutshell - I won't be entering contest to see him at B104. I won the M&G at the same station in Aug 2010 when he was there for GNT Musikfest. I think they will remember me. Besides I'd like newer, younger fans to be there instead. So if you are anywhere near Allentown please enter on Tuesday! You'll have a better chance here I think than in Philly or NYC. �@b104: Want to see and meet @adamlambert ? It's very generous of JazzRocks to not enter since she's won before, but if you haven't I would do it. It is worth meeting him, it REALLY is. There is usually a rule about winning something from the same place within a year, so you'd probably qualify, JazzRocks, if you did decide to try after all. LOL, the one time I ever won anything from a radio station was tickets to one of Adam's Costa Mesa concerts. It was this big deal where I had to sign some legal document and fax it in (since I couldn't get to station to pick them up) then when I finally received the tickets they were row T.  The ticket I already had was a BB. And our group had several Ls, Ks, etc. that we got from Ticketmaster before we upgraded, so I was like, "Oh great, now I can't win anything for a year and these tickets are useless!" I did give them to a former co-worker who LOVED the show though.  Thanks for that It Gets Better vid, Mika! It's really beautiful. |

Gosh I hope we're not going to be hiding out because we're not YOUNG. Adam has fans of all ages .. Ya know the negativity on age is working against Adam, He loves all of his fans. Ageism is not going to get me,if Adam comes anywhere where I can get to by plane,train,car,bike or walking ,I'll be there. If Madonna,in her 50s can get up on the stage and be loved by all ages, the least I can do is sit in the audience at my age. My point being ,if you want to see Adam at the radio station gig you go ... Thank you. My job as a fan is to have fun. I am not here to worry about creating the perfect backdrop for the pictures at Adam's M and G at my local radio station. And if we hide in the closet Ryan Seacrest wins and we would not want that to happen, would we? |

I'm trying for the Z100 and Fresh Whatever passes in NYC, but I MIGHT try the Allentown station if I miss out of the first two (likely  ) ....btw....I'm younger than Madonna - but that's a VERY GOOD point!! Hell, she's prancing around in skimpy costumes and stilettos and good for her! :D |

I want the second song to be one of Adams songs. Adam is a great songwriter and I loved the songs he co-wrote on FYE. He had now 6 singles? FYE, WWFM, IIHY, SW, Fever, BTIKM, not all released in all countries, but you see what I mean? Not one was his. And it would be odd to me, if second would be someone song again, although most songs on the album are co-written by him. Songs by others will always sound like a song by another one, like you can hear Pink in WWFM. Adam is so unique and his songs are unique to me, too. I hear him, although someone else wrote it with him. He has nothing to hide. General public probably does not care, but I care. And also it will give him credits as a songwriter I chringed when I heard, that the Brunos song is considered as one of the possibilities for the second single. Becuase although I like the song, I will always hear Bruno and also his fans will. It is all over Youtube. No matter how good the song is, I don't want it to be the next single. Rant over ;D I totally agree with you! If he want to expand his fanbase, the label needs to take risk to allow his co-write song to be his single to give him more credibility especially he's famous for singing cover. Most of Rhianna MVs are very sexual and so as the others pop divas and rappers. Just saying |
