Ok guys, I'm gonna be blunt here.
This is a board populated by grownups. Rudeness is not permitted. We have people posting from literally all over the world, all with different understandings and levels of sensitivity.
Rule #4 (and for crying out loud there's only four damn rules here) is about respect. Respect towards your fellow members, and yes respect to the mods who put in a hell of lot of unpaid time and effort to keep Adamtopia running for everyone.
You may not be rude on the threads. If a mod tells you that you are being repetitive and/or being rude to other members (and hence mods your posts) you do not get to post the SAME material again. Following up by being even ruder via PM to a mod doesn't endear you to us (and yes we will share correspondence that is felt to affect multiple mods).
It is a lot of work to keep this place running smoothly, and to ensure that as many people as possible feel comfortable posting here. If your style is "I'm gonna say whatever I want and I don't care if anyone gets upset how I say it", ATOP may not be the place for you. ALL CURRENT ADAM TOPIC CAN BE DISCUSSED HERE. It does not have to be puppies and rainbows. We have both deep and shallow ends of the swimming pool, and some like one side more than the other. That's ok, we all have a scroll button. But no matter if you like deep, or whether you like shallow, you must have respect for your fellow members and that includes everyone from the newest poster timidly coming out of lurkdom to the administrator of this board.
We, the mods, don't particularly enjoy modding as we would much rather send our time splashing. Or occasionally deal with those pesky issues like RL work and families. IF YOU GET MODDED there is a reason, because frankly modding is work. So please pay attention and stop repeating the same damn things...and then wonder why you've been modded again (with less patience this time). We don't want to mod you. But we do want a multi-topic forum where people from all over globe and from a wide variety of perspectives can rationally and respectfully discuss all things Adam.

Oh, and BTW.... whining about moderator decisions after a batch of behind-the-scenes stuff will get deleted without comment.
We do our best to discuss problems directly with members, and we really try to bend over backwards to clear up honest misunderstandings. We appreciate all the wonderful people here and want everyone who makes up our Adam community to feel appreciated.
But if you poke us with sticks after being explained the ground rules that apply to everyone, you're gonna find that your posts are short-lived.

A question to HoppersSkippersMiners about posting rules:
If a person gets their post deleted based on the tone of the post being rude/disrespectful, and the person will post her topic again, this time worded respectfully, will the post be deleted based on the rule about repetitive posting of modded material/for being annoying? Or is this case sensitive?
(trying not to be annoying here, just trying to figure out the posting practices.)

LOL to all of us who thought that Adam was going back to LA from Europe for a couple of days just to see Sauli and then go to NYC for work without Sauli. I think it was the context of the article that made us assume that, saying that he's missing his bb but he will see him soon and then go to NYC.
We obviously know nothing LOL!!!
Adam had promo plans to LA, all the radio promo from yesterday. and now we found out that he's going to Clive Davis's party. Great! People will talk about him again even though he won't be at the Grammy's
And then to NYC with Sauli.
And it seems from that interview that we haven't heard yet, just bits and pieces that he's going to fashion shows as well?
So not only working (maybe recording too?) and promoting his album in NYC but also red carpet, fashion shows,all sounds like a big WIN to me. :D

Delete the old post and replace with a reworded post, and it will probably stay. Realize that it is contingent on whichever mod is on the board at that time, but we try to be consistent. If you are unsure, PM whichever mod is logged in at the time. Look at the ATOP front page to see who's here.
