I really hope Clive's party will go on as scheduled. At a time like this, I'm sure everyone in the music industry wants to be together to share their sadness. It will be a real comfort for so many artists and friends. So sad right now. I hope it goes on too, but I am kind of thinking about all the artists, possibly nominated for the first time that will have this over shadow everything. I feel bad for them. I feel bad for Bobbi Kristina. Poor girl, what must it have been like to have 2 parents like Whitney and Bobby Brown? Her addiction has been going on for years and years. She had a child that she wouldn't even clean up for. I dunno, seems like a very self centered life to me. At the risk of being hated for this ^^^ I am going to post anyway. I'm half watching CNN right now and they've been playing the same clips over and over again, but it looks like Bobbi Kristina's close to both her parents. |

But having had the sad experience of being friends with addicts, I realize that their addiction is sometimes beyond their control. They want to get better. They try. They fight. They promise. They hope. And sometimes the addiction is stronger, and they lose. It's a tragedy no matter how you look at it. |
