If he is still working on the album, then it explains what he said in one of the interviews - that it will come out March-April (MApril - another Adamism) . I am very disappointed as it could mean postponing the Listening Party and attendees having to rearrange their lives and having to pay the fees for changing plane tickets. Bummer! And oh yes, too late now for me to cancel a 3 feet x 6 feet vinyl banner I ordered to commemorate the album drop! Will have to write in under the March 20, 2012 date, "Adam Time". Can someone please tweet RCA to confirm the delay? Thanks. VH1 does not have BTIKM in their preview of new releases. So maybe it won't even be on next week? So why put it up for votes? I am voting anyway. Love BTIKM. And based on comments on the video, so do many people (it gained 10,000+ views in the last hour). Adam is so proud of it, especially the video, as he should be. It is very well done and is getting critical acclaim. I trust his instincts - BTKIM's premature death is greatly exaggerated!

I've been reading and thinking the last several days but haven't commented. Here are some of my thoughts. I am not ready to give up on BTIKM. I think MyS*&@^#r makes a lot of sense that it may have been released in December to counteract BFM. It really does seem that promo is just starting now. It is gaining spins. Today it passed Madonna on HAC. It appears that the promo yesterday had an impact. KBIG interviewed him yesterday then played BTIKM later. Adam is glowing with happiness and confidence. If there is worry in his camp it sure isn't affecting him! It seems when ever we try to second guess what is happening with Adam, he surprises us! He did pass Madonna because her numbers fell from 488 spins in the week of Feb 3 - Feb 9 to 428 spins in the week of Feb 4 - Feb 10. Adams spin number "only" went up 15 spins, which is not exceptional. ETA: But of course it is nice to see Adams numbers growing continuously and it is interesting that Madonna number fell. I'll take a slow and steady growth any day over a dramatic rise and fall!

Dear Adam,
I know you are busy, but so are your fans.
Kindly have your people post your schedule each morning.
After an 18 hour day, the thrill of digging for treasure is gone.
Sincerely,
Harry Ed

Adam's example inspires me every day. The balancing act is to stan him but not just stay on the bench and watch the game of life. Have to jump in completely, take big risks and pursue my passions too.
Adam is pursuing his big dream of being an artist but also manages to do his backup job of being a therapist at the same time. Most recent example is his music video for BTIKM. The messages he wants to convey are a positive influence on so many levels for so many people.

Do you think there is any chance the collaboration with Bruno Mars is not just on writing the song but also on vocals? Not saying I would like it but that would guarantee radio play.

I LOVED the Lyndsey Parker interview. Seeing Adam laughingly half-regret his bolo tie choice from when he was "Grammy fashion correspondant" surprised me! But it was very endearing to hear him ask his past self, "Really, Adam?" Also fun to see: when he talks about "international buzz" for the album and rocks his body to the idea. Interesting that Lyndsey asked him about international promo first - though Adam didn't say much, I definitely got the impression that that was a very deliberate and purposeful choice.
And, I want to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that there's some kind of Adam/Bruno collaboration in the works/on the album. I think it is EXCELLENT in every way. I think it will ABSOLUTELY help break through whatever might be SOME resistance to Adam by some stations/markets/PDs, etc.
US pop radio dominance, imo, is so strongly tied to perceptions by stations/markets/PDs etc. regarding what's "cool" ("current," "hot," "hip," AND "popular with teens"). Bruno Mars IS regarded as all that. So, I'm THRILLED that he's working with Adam.
1) To me, Bruno Mars is the "closest" artist on US radio to the kind of artist Adam is 2) Bruno is ALL OVER the radio 3) Adam loves his voice 4) "Grenade" is a FANTASTIC song that I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED 5) "The Lazy Song" is one of the few songs that the men in my life sing along to in the car ("I'll just strut in my birthday suit, And let evvvverything hang loose . . . ")
IMO, this is just a fantastic collab for Adam.
ETA: ALSO, I love BTIKM - I do think it's gonna go higher on the charts - I certainly look forward to single two, too, whatever it is - I don't expect it to necessarily be the Mars collab by any means, but I also think it could be. (Ha-ha - which pretty much covers all the bases.)
