No matter how you vote on VH1 -- it take about 2 minutes to cast 20 votes -- the daily max. And it eliminates spamming!! (Unless you are crazy enough to create a lot of multiple Twitter and FB accounts. And Twitter has made that much harder.) Actually, Q3, if you vote in Safari, there are unlimted votes. You just have to close out VH1 after every 20 votes, reopen, and choose "Private browsing." Emptying your cache works too, but that is more complicated than just using Safari. Changing Twitter accounts or Facebook accounts doesn't work. You can also use private browsing if you have Windows 7. That´s what I have been doing. Vote 20 times, close the browser, open the private browsing again, 20 more votes, and so on. 8-)

JHud...whatever. I do think it makes sense to have an African-American performer do the tribute, since apparently one of the things poor Whitney struggled with was acceptance by that community.
Better JHud than Jordin. Never could warm up to Jordin, I must confess.
But I will also admit that every time JHud's stupid Feeling Good WW ad comes on I lunge for the mute button, lest she overwrite Adam's performance of that song on my brain.

Like others, I am enjoying this more natural Adam. It makes him appear at once more approachable, and at the same time, more regal. But, it seems to me he is still wearing a foundation and a little blush of some kind. I think that a freshly scrubbed Adam has lots of freckles on his face. It would seem he would have to with the lip freckles, the neck freckles, and the amount of freckling on his shoulders, arms and hands. Any make up experts want to chime in and give an opinion? [laughs] I think TRULY no-makeup Adam is the one from the boat pictures. You know, the one where he's wearing a cobalt-blue tank top? I'm not on my regular computer right now, but can someone who knows what I'm talking about post those pics? Plwessse?? [grins] #yeshehasfreckles :D

You just have to close out VH1 after every 20 votes, reopen, and choose "Private browsing." Emptying your cache works too, but that is more complicated than just using Safari. Changing Twitter accounts or Facebook accounts doesn't work. You can vote unlimited times in Safari because they apparently did not code this 20 vote limit to work in Safari. I have some doubt that these votes will count. It is really easy to discard excess votes by IP address and/or ID. And they clearly want to have the voting represent popularity not fan group passion. I imagine they have some post vote processing they do -- they certainly have the time. I will cast my 20 votes every day and get as many people as I can to do the same. It may be a waste the effort to cast more than 20 a day because it is possible in Safari -- and VH1 may not be aware of the bug. Unless you are willing to create multiple digital IDs and mask your IP address. AND I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THAT ANYONE DO THIS.

From FoxVegas Others have touched on it, but I, also, have to mention the new level of respect Adam is getting from the interviewers. He's being treated as a successful artist and when a snarky comment is made, it seems to be in jest, just 2 guys messing around. The "he's gay" awareness seems to have faded into "he's a really cool, talented guy and a good interview" status. I find their admiration for his hair sincere and hilarious. Again, no sarcasm, just real puzzlement at how the heck he keeps it in place. I find I enjoy the interviews more because I'm not waiting for someone to take a cheap shot and for Adam to be his always gracious self when he probably wanted to take a poke at someone's smug face. I'm not a numbers follower and as much as I want Adam to be a mega-star, my prayer for him is that both his professional and private lives flourish to the extent that he is still making music and garnering respect and love long after I've left this world. He is too talented to be left in the dust for the next big thing. I agree Savvy... the tone of interviews this time around is more "respectful" and less "sensational". However, he just mentioned the "american idol" in addition to the "orientation" as a major obstacle to people giving him serious consideration...(in some interview posted yesterday). I don't really remember him talking about the AI in this light before. So, Adam knows that he is facing three liabilities - the relative weight of each differs by culture/region/country: 1) orientation 2) AI fame 3) being Jewish Psychologically this is a lot to carry and a lot to overcome. But his amazing multifaceted talent and amazing radiating, infectious positive energy as well as the incredible ability to focus and pursue his goals are going to win over all and every one of them! On a bit more shallow end - was the fact that his new BMW is a USED car discussed? The reason I am bringing this up is that I find it endearing and somewhat funny that Adam can keep buying all those $2K pairs of boots, jackets, etc... while saving on a car ;D ;D ;D Also - are we in for a twitter party some time today? He is flying to breath my air today! YAY!!!!

I agree that Adam's "no makeup" look is really a less makeup application. I'm a natural blonde, or I was, before the gray. I have extremely fair skin. My lashes are totally invisible without a touch of mascara. My complexion makes every flaw highly visible. I think Adam probably still uses mascara, a concealer, a mineral powder foundation, blush, & lip color. He may, also, use eyeliner under his lashes.

I'm finding the ads in lots of places. aaahhh! kewlness! :D I too am seeing ads all over the place, but I figured it is because "they" know I am an Adam fan and have done internet searches or visited adam news sites. How can you tell the difference between ads for the masses and the ads tailor made for the specific user?
