The song is doing well on Canada HAC but has no Canada Top 40 add yet. I do not follow Canadian radio closely enough to know if there are any stations that welcome and pay attention to non-Canadian or non-local requests. Wow, those are some heavy hitters on that video along with Adam. I sooo love it when they no longer feel it's necessary to explain who he is... ETA: Okay, I'm too lazy to backtrack through the threads, but was that the CEO of RCA he arrived with? Yes, but I don't think they actually arrived together, just at the same time. Tom Corson is RCA's COO, not CEO. (Peter Edge is CEO.) They arrived at the same time in separate cars. BUT Tom Corson and Clive Davis were both very positive about Adam at the event. |

Q3, Safari does get blocked for more than 20 votes, just like all the other browsers. It's the "privae browsing" feature setting that allows the extra voting. And until I get a "Your vote has already been counted" or they block me, I will continue to vote as much as it allows me too. Because I know darn well, that fans of the other artists are doing the same thing! It is still a bug that is easy to spot in the votes -- and it is simple to delete the excess votes. VH1 still have your IP address and the ID use vote from. Also, unless you do some extra work, Safari's Private Browsing is not actually private. On the album -- it is being pushed back a bit but it doesn't appear to be a significant amount of time.
And if that give them time to 1. make the album better AND/OR 2. make sure Adam is all over the radio before the album goes on sale with BTIKM or some other track, I am willing to wait a few weeks or so.
I have waited a long time, I can wait a bit longer.

On other rumors, there is a new wave of rumors about Adam and Queen out there. Is this based on any news? Or just a rumor wave based on nothing?

Others have touched on it, but I, also, have to mention the new level of respect Adam is getting from the interviewers. He's being treated as a successful artist and when a snarky comment is made, it seems to be in jest, just 2 guys messing around. The "he's gay" awareness seems to have faded into "he's a really cool, talented guy and a good interview" status. I find their admiration for his hair sincere and hilarious. Again, no sarcasm, just real puzzlement at how the heck he keeps it in place. I find I enjoy the interviews more because I'm not waiting for someone to take a cheap shot and for Adam to be his always gracious self when he probably wanted to take a poke at someone's smug face. I'm not a numbers follower and as much as I want Adam to be a mega-star, my prayer for him is that both his professional and private lives flourish to the extent that he is still making music and garnering respect and love long after I've left this world. He is too talented to be left in the dust for the next big thing. I agree Savvy... the tone of interviews this time around is more "respectful" and less "sensational". However, he just mentioned the "american idol" in addition to the "orientation" as a major obstacle to people giving him serious consideration...(in some interview posted yesterday). I don't really remember him talking about the AI in this light before. So, Adam knows that he is facing three liabilities - the relative weight of each differs by culture/region/country: 1) orientation 2) AI fame 3) being Jewish Psychologically this is a lot to carry and a lot to overcome. But his amazing multifaceted talent and amazing radiating, infectious positive energy as well as the incredible ability to focus and pursue his goals are going to win over all and every one of them! On a bit more shallow end - was the fact that his new BMW is a USED car discussed? The reason I am bringing this up is that I find it endearing and somewhat funny that Adam can keep buying all those $2K pairs of boots, jackets, etc... while saving on a car ;D ;D ;D Also - are we in for a twitter party some time today? He is flying to breath my air today! YAY!!!! I hadn't thought about the Jewish angle, but, I suppose in some places/countries that would be significant as well. But, I did notice him mentioning the difficulties of being from Idol. Perhaps he thinks enough time has elapsed that he no longer needs to thank them repeatedly for his opportunity. He has moved on. Or perhaps, the longer the time since he was on Idol, the more he realizes that the stigma is more persistent than he anticipated. Or maybe this is part of the more "real" Adam, who will acknowledge in public that he has to fight for legitimacy. As for the USED BMW, I was relieved, I guess is the word. It was a reassurance that Adam is still grounded. Despite his tendency to be impulsive (his own words), he still has his eyes on the big picture and the ultimate goals: great music, great voice, entertaining performances, longevity and financial security. I don't think we are supposed to use the word 'USED' to refer to a BMW, tho'. The marketers are trying to re-frame it with the word "pre-owned." And a recent ad says you are not the new owner, but the heir to the car. hahahaha |

Or just a rumor wave based on nothing? IDK what rumors you hear but Adam confirmed that "THERE WILL BE A GIG (or even more than one) WITH QUEEN THIS YEAR". He repeated this is several interviews. He said he "promised" not to reveal more than that. |
