So Sasha is dancing in a Rihanna number tonight? I missed that - Go Sasha! I'm all about Adele tonight - hoping to see her with an armful of awards and sounding amazing. ETA: nonotme - sadly, I don't tweet but you've inspired me to follow Scott Harrison's motto of paying it forward - so i'll add another contribution to honor this second anniversary of seeing Adam at Highline for Rock My Town. To encourage everyone to spread the word about the push to donate to Adam's Charity Water campaign on or around Valentine's Day I am offering a little incentive. I do not have much financial flexibility, so the offer is small in dollars, but big in heart. For each person on Atop that posts before the end of today's thread that he/she has tweeted about donating on Valentine's Day, or posted the information on another board, I will donate $1 to Charity Water, up to $30. OK peeps, today is the 12th, we have to be sure to get the word out in the fandom for people to donate to Adam's Charity Water campaign on and around Valentine's Day, the 14th! Donations can be any size! And if you can't donate right now, please still help by letting others know about the plan. People on twitter, please tweet it out like crazy. If you post on another board - AO, ALFC, MJ's, FYE, etc., please post about it there. Make some comments under articles and youtubes! Push, push, push for clean water and for Adam! #AdamCharityWaterValentine And use other hashtags if you've got better ones. And, yes, I will be repeating this on and off. I can be obnoxious at times! I do see Chunkey's point about how the entertainment industry at large does seem to regard JHud as this music superstar when her body of work really does not support this (I actually think of her more as an actress who can sing and not a recording star who can act). But that's neither here nor there when it comes to the tribute – they made a decision on the fly and that's what it was. I'm sure she'll do a beautiful job.
Next year, they will do the tribute that can be thought out and planned. I'm a little sad for Adele whose triumphant return from surgery and blockbuster year is being overshadowed by this horrible tragedy.
