awww, thank you mika for including that wonderful story about how something as simple as water made Helen Apio "feel beautiful". I spent a big chunk of my adult life living in West Africa, and I can tell you that the hardships this woman faced is repeated a gazillion times all over the continent every hour of every day. Yes, clean water helps prevent countless diseases and saves lives, but it also does something else... It reduces a crippling burden on women, and gives them a kind of miracle: The freedom to actually choose what to do with those extra hours that previously were spent searching for and lugging home water. This is a beautiful thing.  |

Is it just me that cannot see who tweeted someone and what they wrote? My twitter page is all different lately. Does everybody have a different set up when they pull up twitter?

My daughter was there protesting but she managed to get back home before the severe episodes with the police. I didn't want to bring this over here since it's very sad news. |

A little OT but I am thinking about finally getting a juicer beause it will be healthier for me. I've seen the Vitamix machine at Costco. Does anyone have one and do they recommend it? Yes! I have one and highly recommend it!! If you want more info PM me. |
