Chris Martin from Coldplay is managing to sound worse than Taylor Swift did in that duet with Stevie Nicks. Ouch. Never been impressed with his live singing. I actually saw Coldplay live 2 years ago! It was GOOD!!! |

Really? You actually found what Chris was doing to be good singing? I had to turn off the stream as it was painful to listen to him and don't get me wrong I LIKE Coldplay. I mean granted they are U2 light and Chris makes no secret of the fact that he plans his every career move so as to emulate U2 but I really do like their music. Only thing is that EVERY time I have tried to listen to a live performance I have to turn it off because it is seriously bad vocally. I have yet to find a live performance that I can stand all the way through. Like I said he's not perfect but still does a good job imo. |

They were a bit shaky at points, mostly good though and both Rihanna and Chris Martin are pretty consistently good live singers as far as I've heard  Really? I really like Bruno Mars and his James Brown moves, He can really get the audience up on its feet.. Something was off with the Kelly song,the band was just too loud,hard to drown her pipes out.but they managed.
I don't care for Chris Martin and really disliked his song . I liked what the Foo Fighters said about music without the benefit of the computer. the voice and the heart being most important.
I also appreciated the way they honored Whitney so far and liked that the feeling conveyed was that the music industry was family. Time to include Adam in the family.. over due.
