The only person who should sing this song as a tribute to Whitney at the Grammy's. I agree! She has such a beautiful quality and a beautiful tone to her voice. She sings that song like she means it! I just love Dolly!

I just love Dolly! Especially since she wrote the song. As was said last night, JHud would be tacky IMO.

a bit OT I'm at a loss :-/ I definitely remember seeing Whitney's concert in Moscow in the late 80s. It's difficult to mistake her to anybody else, I believe. I vividly remember her dress - bright yellow with black polka-dots. I even remember as my friend and I discussed at one time that we needed to send my friend's younger brother (who was with us i think, beautiful boy of mixed russian-indian descent), so he could give Whitney flowers and charm out an autograph for us. And yet I can't find any mention that she was in USSR at that time. It couldn't be later in 90s, because I was with my childhood friend who moved to (ironically) United States in 90 or 91 with her family, gave birth to her first son and the next time we saw each other it was in 1998 when I traveled through the States with my other friend and spent a week at her house in Washington, DC. Maybe it's my memory playing tricks on me ??? But then I attended very few pop concerts for the last 20-25 years, for me it's usually jazz or classical music. So I don't have a lot of ground to mix things up. Mystery My last attempt to go to the concert was last May, when Adam was in Moscow. I nearly made it, but my father passed away the week before and we've had novemdial exactly the day of the concert. So... To mods: feel free to remove or move my post if it's too OT
