I don't understand why they didn't seem to like Rock with You. I thought it was great Good thing Adam had been in the theatre world and knew how to take "notes" and respond. Otherwise, we might never have seen him! Can you imagine the disaster that would have been????????? |

Does Adam have a PR team or management now? I don't know, it seems we never hear anything from them like we did with Shosh. But for Oliver posting pictures of himself and his friends, with or without Adam, we don't get much related to Adam in the states. We see gatherings at Adam's home or him throwing a party for someone but there seems to be little going on as far as promotion for him. While it is nice to see a little about his personal time and life and of course he deserves his down time but I miss the PR and teases about upcoming events, what he is working on and promotion for him, the artist. There never seem to be any management people with him at events like Big Mouth as in the past. We find out about the events from fans there posting or we see a thank you for having me from Adam. Or he says something in an interview about new music. It all just feels weird. Even with the two nice animation projects, there was little promotion about them from Adam's people. If not for Pride events in the US, there is not much about him here. Maybe that is because Pride month is around the corner and hopefully and I expect, we will see a lot participation from him. And we see many high profile, diverse and professional events when he is abroad but there is still very little publicity about those activities too. And if he is still with a label are they doing anything to help him get his music heard? High Drama was a covers album but artists have cover songs doing well on the charts and even winning awards for them. I know pop radio is not interested but there are other radio genres that might be open to him. He has a lot of success and is very wealthy, and tho I never viewed him as a niche artist he may be becoming that. Maybe he is at a point in his life where he is good with that for his career. Or maybe I'm just missing all the excitement and press that follows QAL. HA. But it just feels like there is no PR/Management team working for him.

lurleene, amen to all you said. I think about this all the time. Any management team he may still have is certainly on permanent vacation. We don't even see him having a manager, although he must have someone who plans his travel, luggage, etc.
All I have on my own little Adam pocket calendar is Adam judging on Ru Paul's Drag Race on May 17, and Adam at WeHo Pride on May 31, free on Concast.
Watched the news clips on that Met nature-themed Red Carpet event that just happened yesterday. Tons of stars all dressed in crazy nature-related stuff. Adam would have been perfect for that event. And he can sing opera. LOL There were stars there who were top A-listers and those who were a tier down the list, too.
2024 is not even at its half-way point yet. There should be some sort of schedule plan out by now, if there is one.

AS far as I know DawbellPR still does his PR. in the 2023 QAL tour program he thanked his new management -- I cannot recall their name. So presumably someone is doing something for him. Will never understand the break with Shoshanna. |

I don’t know, but what Shosh did isn’t normal. What we see now is normal: The management and the whole team behind Adam is invisible. And that Adam himself is mostly invisible too, is actually also normal as long as he doesn’t tour or has something to promote. I follow other artists and some disappear completely for 1-2 years (!), while they’ write and record a new album. Then they reappear with (a)new single(s) that they promote, a new album and then a tour. And off they go again.
We are very lucky that Adam does these TV Shows too, even if they’re in different countries, so that not everyone can see them (I can neither watch the US nor the UK shows, have to wait if I get the Australian ones at all, but whatever…). And we are also lucky, that his friends are still allowed to and use to post Adam pictures or videos from time to time. It has become less as well. But without these we wouldn’t see Adam for weeks or months in a row. And yes, that would also be completely normal.

Well, he must have someone working for him, he's been pretty busy in the UK, and now in Australia with The Voice, plus the animation projects. I'm sure those jobs don't just land in your lap, so someone's working on his behalf. And it was interesting because when Shosh would tease stuff on twitter, some fans got mad at her for it. So like Nighowl said, maybe it's more normal for his team to work behind the scenes.
As far as PR, have no idea how that works or who that is for Adam, but they could take lessons from TS team...I swear every other post on facebook is for TS, and I'm not even a fan. I swear every time she farts, there's a magazine article about it lol.

Talk about a tier down, one year they had James Charles there. HA. Adam on the red carpet at Cannes and other Cannes events and things that will get you noticed. On the Oscar red carpet and the after-party with other stars. Like the Clive Davis Oscar party. The Elton John Oscar party with Katy Perry years ago. Yep Sauli was there too but the press cared about Adam and Katy. The Jubilee. The Princess Kate event that was covered by the press. Where is his Pr/management team and why are they not getting him seen at some high profile events with other celebrities in the US? Yes he has had some great projects in the UK and Australia and some animation projects so someone is working on his behalf but not much press/PR about it here in the states to let anyone know he is involved. Postings by friends about their personal gatherings (Adam does not post much personal and private stuff nor does he need to) is not PR so it is unlikely to be covered by the press as promotion. |
