While it's break time. a friend just texted me. very concerned that now Nicki Minaj new song is now playing every hr on the hr...yesterday it was Katy Perry's new song. every hr on the hr. Why hasn't RCA plaid for that kind of promo? Does Adam have a chance.?? His song is struggling . Adam is getting lots of Promo now on VH1 jump start,New York stations will probably start playing., then NJ. Conn. It will be a hit . I feel it in my bones.. |

So Larry heard some of the album eh? I wonder if he will be previewing tracks at all the stations he visits...if so that would be an INSANELY SMART idea. Get the stations excited about the new music plus buttering them up by making them feel special/important to get sneak peek.
As for the Nicki thing...ugh. I heard that too. Yeah it's a double edged sword. On one hand it gets the song instant big exposure and spins, but more often then not it turns some ppl off because they get "sick" of the song right away. I don't care abt every hr spins, I just want it to get good spins and turn into a hit WORTHY of every hr spins insstead of it being force fed down our throats.

I'm thinking its a slow start BUT I so want it to top the charts. I just wonder why he didn't get these fantstic hr on hr plays such as Madonna, Katie had it yesterday and now Nicki today . It's just frustrating because he has such a fantastic voice and I'm sure all of here on this board, want a #1 success since its so important this time around. BTW If Perry new song makes it to top #1 I'll scream, it's the 'some old, same old song". I like Katie but she is not brining anyathing new to the sound of music. |

I laughed when Adam referenced Deee-Lite (and he looks so pleased!) - found a lonely vid - it was played constantly back then. Great song and 'Groove is In The Heart' seemed appropriate for V-Day.  I LOVE THIS SONG!! That is so weird, because this is on most of my workout playlists and I was just thinking yesterday that if Adam ever did any covers, that would be a great one. Also "Wishing Well" by Terance Trent D'Arby. |
