OK, I figured it out.
Just as the BTIKM video is like the Star Trek episode where Kirk splits into two parts, the album as a whole is like the Star Trek episode where the Enterprise must carry the alien ambassador whose appearance induces madness.
Like the ambassador, the album is an energy-based creature of light and music who is emotionally beautiful. Unfortunately being exposed to it drives humanoids insane and it has to be inside a carefully controlled container at all times. Some people can tolerate limited exposure. Call them Vulcans, call them radio program directors, call them publicists. The upshot is that they aren't human like you and me.
It's for the good of all mankind that the energy be controlled tightly until special earbuds and goggles can be constructed that will allow humanoids like ourselves to be exposed. Otherwise we'll all go crazy and die. That's why it has to be perfect.
It makes sense when you think about it.

itunes question. I just bought the video and can't find it. Also can't find the TfM vid. Those are the only 2 videos I've even purchased. Anyone have any ideas how to find them? I think there used to be an itunes generated folder for videos??????????
