...explaining the delay Adam said something about an addition of a "radio friendly" song... while I (obviously) understand the importance of the radio - this statement scared me... to me it sounds as another WWFM/BTIKM twin - something safe and unremarkable...WTF???? even worse - if he is talking about an addition of a "radio friendly" track - it would mean that they are talking another single, and it is not Trespassing or Cookoo... my zen feeling is very shaky at the moment... and Z100 - better add BTIKM! having Adam at the station and NOT adding is really sh*tty...  |

Maybe "radio-friendly" could mean this collaboration he's been so excited about? If it means a duet with someone who gets the radio play automatically (Katy, Bruno, whoever), maybe that's what he's thinking... Personally, I'm still zenning. (Although why is he still singing WWFM at these things? Are they trying to show that the songs are similarly not scary and that WWFM = BTIKM hit-wise? Oh, screw it. I don't know a thing about radio and RCA does, so I'll be in the zen corner humming until further notice.) |

Well, they are clearly adding a couple more "radio-friendly" songs. I guess we will find out what that all means in a few months. I am trusting the label right now. Adam seems more than happy, and Trespassing is an important project to them.
As much as I hate the delay, I can see how it will probably work out for the best on a lot of different levels. He will be in a much better position radio-wise if they give things a bit more time. Plus, there could be other promo opportunities in the works that we know nothing about but that could be pieces of the whole roll-out.
And I am also thinking that they do want release another single before the album drop (but still have enough time to get BTIKM to a respectable point on the charts first).
