I wonder what Kelly's and JHud's net worth would be if they just did albums and album tours. When Pollstar did an article about earnings from touring they only included Carrie and Adam (solo and with Queen) as the highest earning Idols from tours. When Adam first landed on the Forbes list of highest earning Idols, in a second place tie with Daughtry, fans of other Idols had a meltdown and questioned it. Then Adam ended up making the list every year after that then topping it one year. HA. Topping the list had only been achieved by Carrie (most of the time) and Kelly once then Adam. No matter how they come up with the earnings, it is so nice to see Adam as one of the heavy hitters. Not surprised about Carrie's place on the list. Country music is a huge behemoth all its own. They seem to take care of each other, perform in big groups with each other. They embrace new artists pretty well. Not so much with rock/pop.
Nice to see Adam so close to the top of the list. After JHud there is a big dip in the net worth.

Yep Carrie has some major US arena tours. Nowhere near as large as QAL venues. Hers are around 7k-16k but much longer than QAL tours so it adds up. And no headlining international arena tours but she has been at it for 20 years. Also she made a ton of money on endorsements, long Vegas residencies and her fitness clothing line. And one article said she makes $1M every time her get ready for some football ad aired. The bottom line is, the ones that have done the best have multiple revenue streams and opportunities. The top earners made some smart moves when they diversified. |

"Multiple revenue streams" is right. It's not just about albums and concerts. Adam has proven himself to be very good at diversifying, and I hope he gets more opportunities to do it. Keeps the payroll nice and healthy.
