As I said in a previous post, it seems a lot of music is getting raunchy. Even Billie Eilish has some lyrics that can be construed in many different ways. Adam is just more out there, and says it and, of course, is a agay man.I will wait and see what he has to say. Of the couple I have heard, it sounds like great dance music and I think that's what the kids are into now. Fingers crossed for him. |

Billie Eilish? She gets massive radio play and has many hit records with a major label behind her. Has won 9 Grammy's, 2 Oscars and won awards on different award shows in pop, alt and rock. She is a woman who recently came out as bi (after massive success) and she has never been limited and succeeds in multiple genres. She is 22 and close to the age of the kids who would buy the music. Even tho Adam said his young crew make him feel young, he is a 42 year old gay man (with extraordinary vocal abilities that should have been more recognized by the public) making raunchy pop/dance or club music. Adam is successful but he has never been highly accepted in Pop or dance/pop so I doubt he will suddenly rise now. And I don't think he even expects that. But he is doing it for himself and his community. And it makes him happy so that counts for a lot. From the beginning of his career, he has wanted the support of his community. This is their chance and I hope they deliver for him with half the worship and support they give to the divas. And I hope he has some great Pride performances.

I think these guys are kind of funny. they appreciate Adam, but they, like so many others talk about how effortless it looks. Great that it LOOKS that way, I guess he's doing his job. However, we all know it is NOT effortless. I wish people would mention that it only LOOKS that way  |

My point was there is a lot of angst about what people think his songs will be (I must say, they are probably right) but others are doing the same. So, I am hopeful. |
