Just found out that my video of the entire Outloud Weho concert was blocked on Youtube. How can you find out who filed the copyright claim? I have heard Superpower several times on the promo. It really sounds so joyful and empowering and fun. It seems that when Adam writes songs with people outside his circle, you get more of his sexy charisma and strength. Even with his emotional songs, they make you feel something and you can connect. But songs like Two Fux give a sense of anger and defiance (us against the world). And it is understandable they would feel that way. But with Adam being universally loved and often on the world stage like in China, Cannes, the Oscars, Princess Kate and the Kennedy Center, others around him may only feel accepted and loved in their world. Tho he has had challenges because of his sexuality, the FU attitude somehow doesn't connect with his success, personality, charm and broader appeal. A bit jarring. But he likes to write with WeHo friends, who may write more from their perspective. And it makes him happy so good for him that even tho he is a worldwide star, he wants to connect with his community too.

I love Two Fux. And I love that for the last 15 years, we've gotten songs for pretty much every emotion...defiant, happy, sad, empowering, etc. One of the reasons I love him as an artist...there's something for everyone.
How exciting to hear Superpower on TV...too bad I don't ever watch tv lol.
