Out Grammy nominee Adam Lambert went on VH1′s Big Morning Buzz yesterday and, when way-too-perky hostess Carrie Keagan finally let him get a word in edgewise, he addressed the ongoing chatter that he’s going to be the new front man for Queen: “I may be doing something with them [but] I’m not joining the band,” he says. “I’ve got my own album to promote this year.” Fans will have to wait a little bit longer for that album, though: Trespassing‘s release has been pushed back from March 20 to the rather vague date of “Mapril,” as Lambert told Z100. “I know it’s hard, but it’s not finished,” said Adam. “It needs to be finished. There are new songs we are doing last minute that are really good. Dr. Luke songs, so they are really good and very radio. It’s all for the best, even though it’s a tough thing to ask to wait.
