I noticed that the only time Adam intro'd Kevin was when Maxwell asked him to.. and he didn't introduce him as his new musical director.. is this odd? I'm used to him acknowledging his band, so was wondering if this was the norm at these kind of radio promos for Adam not to do that.. :-/ I wondered that myself and when he introduced them in one of the Europe events he just used first names. Maybe this is standard operating procedure to keep the focus on the artist everyone has come to see.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qJ1eGBteiUBetter Than I Know Myself - B104 February 16th Uploaded by bjspunkprincess on Feb 16, 2012 Adam Lambert private performance and m&g at B104 studios. So, what time was this recorded? It is in the lower key, but it includes belts. Early morning? Lower key, no belts. Mid morning/early afternoon, lower key and belts allowed. Late afternoon, higher key. Is that the formula? I haven't heard of a singer changing keys like this, all in one day, but, it is very smart in term of protecting the voice.

I was with @moodswings1 at the WPST M&G tonight. We were about 25 people 3 of them were the TALC ladies. There were teenage girls and a few guys. We were asked to write questions on cards that will be picked up randomly later. We were escorted to the studio which is tiny. We managed to sit in the first row right in front of his mic. He entered the room and welcome us to his cave He was sipping tea and said it was a long day. He asked to start with a few questions saying that he would like time to sip his tea and stall the beginning of the songs a bit. Questions were generic. He then said that since the studio is tiny he will sing into the studio mic but without speakers so we can hear him without any intervening electronics. Cassie - IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! he sounded so pure and so great. I was afraid to breath it sounded just beautiful (sigh) He sang BTIKM & WWFM Between songs he said the the album is delayed but it is worth the wait as he added some great new songs that arrived last minute. He also said the the date is not fixed as the logistics of moving an international release are complicated - lots of moving parts that need to be controlled. He was asked about a make-up / clothing line and he said that he might do that and right now he is involved in designing the new merch. BTW he complimented Kevin saying he is a really talented musician. We were in the first row so we were still in the studio with him and Kevin when all the other people left for pictures. The teenage girl next to moody said her favorite song is IIHY and asked if he could sing her a line from the song and he just totally started singing IIHY till the chorus (there were only the four of us plus Adam & Kevin in the room). He told the girl that if she loved IIHY she would really love the new songs as they are much better. I told him we loved the bit of trespassing we heard and he said that the finished product is a thousand times better and was happy that we liked it. Moody told him that we liked the lyrics too. It was an amazing experience I cannot thank @moodswings1 enough for asking me to join her.

fashion.elle.com/fashion/2012/02/16/last-nights-parties-glitter-nicki-ricky-jeremy-scott/LAST NIGHT’S PARTIES: GLITTER, NICKI, RICKY & JEREMY SCOTTby ALEX CATARINELLA on FEBRUARY 16, 2012 If last night had a theme, it’d be glitter. Over-the-top design duo, The Blonds, were supposed to kick off their perpetually sparkling show at 8PM at Milk Studios, but the incessant flashbulbs illuminating the zaniest front-row of the week—Cassie, Miss Jay, Adam Lambert, Ladyfag—caused a bit of a delay. The late start was in line with the concert-like atmosphere, adding to the head-turning excitement and providing the perfect build-up to a parade of fancy corsets. “I am not as sparkly as I once was,” said a Gareth Pugh-clad Lambert. “I’m feeling a bit more streamlined.” He was, however, still sporting heavy eyeliner, a coiffed raven-dyed hairdo and green, cat-eye contacts. ....

That is a good question I was wondering too. Yup. The one we were drooling about yesterday with that rich low resonance and light high notes, no belt, was in F major/D minor. This performance was a whole note higher. Makes sense if the one yesterday was early morning and today was late afternoon. His voice was much more warmed up by that time in the afternoon. So can I guess that his performance on Q102 started at the same key as the 102.7??

Sorry if this interview got posted earlier and I missed it, but it's a really cute interview from 106 this morning that I didn't see earlier. (not on youtube yet, I don't think...) Gah, what a confusing thing trying to keep up with his promo! :-/ He is really energetic and cute in this. Again. ;D www.mixphiladelphia.com/pages/logan.html?article=9773215ETA: One thing that confused the hell out of me today is this... Q102 and Mix106.5 BOTH linked to the same performance videos of Adam at 6pm eastern. I thought they were 2 different stations?? Anyway, they had SEPARATE interviews with him--2 on Q102 and then THIS ONE on Mix106.5. ??? I don't know whether this explains it, but they are both iHeartRadio stations.
