6.18.24 Adam News and Info

Billie is a major artist on a major label. She has several Grammy's, 2 Oscars and has won awards in pop and rock. Of course she has little problems getting radio play. Pop radio started to ignore Adam a long time ago and he/label never released to rock radio. So even without a double standard, it is hard to believe that these non-commercial songs by a gay man about sex (and without a major label push) would suddenly be in play. If he gets a lot of play in the clubs, it is possible for him to chart on the dance charts. He has had a little luck on the dance charts, with a few song before, but even then he was with a major label. I was always amazed that Kelly Clarkson had more success on the dance club charts than Adam. But she is a beloved diva loved by the community, who once got a lot of pop radio play and had many hits, so there is that. HA. So if enough clubs besides Weho clubs play the new music, he may chart on the the niche dance charts. But without a major label and a ton of club play, not going to hold my breath. And I suspect this was more a Vanity project for Adam and for his community. His expectations are probably not that high since the songs failed do well on itunes.
