I had heard of Cabaret but was not familiar with it. I went looking for the Tony award performance from Eddie because someone talked about it and Adam's name was being put up. While I was not impressed with the song Eddie did, I am still excited about Adam getting the role, even if there are no major songs for him. He is an actor too and wants more substantial acting roles so it is a good thing, imo. I am interested in most anything he does that does not involve clubbing or his crew clubbing (others enjoy it tho). HA.

Aw, we’re joking. Pride is not a time to get bitchy about hem lengths. It’s a time where everyone should fly their own flag, freaky or not. We love this, although his pants could’ve used a hemming.

Adam Lambert has released CVNTY as the latest single from his new EP ‘AFTERS’.The follow-up to recent tracks Wet Dream and Lube is a fiery kiss-off anthem and marks the first time Adam has produced vocals himself. Lyrically, the song is about owning your power, turning heads, and leaving a lasting impression, telling the story of a love so intense it could bring a city to its knees, only to end with unapologetic independence and the sweet taste of revenge. This is not correct. Alan was the Emcee in the Sam Mendes productions of Cabaret, West End and Broadway. In the 90s and a reprise later around 2014. But he’s in no way connected to this production or his version of the role. I hate to break it to fans, but the emcee role is a bunch bigger acting role than singing role. Wilkommen is the most familiar song but if you are hoping for fabulous songs, they are Sally’s. Yes and they are songs that require telling a story of what’s happening in Germany at the time. Not just Wilkommen but Money, Don’t Tell Mama,Two Ladies, Tomorrow Belongs to me, the Gorilla song to name a few. There is a reason why so many great actors want to play this part. I agree this is a role that requires a very strong actor, it’s not just about great singing. It’s a wonderful opportunity for Adam.

The Emcee is a very juicy role. That character holds the story together and supplies the rather decadent, sordid atmosphere of pre-war Germany. I like the songs that the emcee performs. The require that over-the-top, campy sensuality that Adam has in spades. I think his spin on the character will be really good! Hope it attracts media attention.
I am assuming with all my heart that the "rumor" is true.

I would think that whatever the songs are or aren't or whatever the role is or isn't, any role on Broadway would be a boon for Adam.
