My wish is for Adam to get to sing one or two of his own songs with Queen. At least one - hopefully the next #1 hit single. Intersting, not sure that would happen as he is in THEIR band the other way around. I would love to hear him sing "You're My Best Friend" |

The 94.3 and Laurie Cataldo seem to have been building up to Adam's visit today publishing several articles about it before. She has been baffled about the response this promo gig has had. Looks like good publicity to Adam! Good baffled or bad baffled?? LOL, good of course  Honestly I have no idea what the word I used exactly means, it just came to my mind when I wrote the post. The colloquial expressions are hard, I have no problems reading text using those, there is context after all. But to use them, well there you see, might get it all wrong. Astonished or overwhelmed would have been safer choices. And that is because the formations like taken aback, taken back, taken into, taken whatever f.ex. are even more difficult to distinguish and understand the tone of. I think my writing sounds too formal and try sometimes to use something else. Well, formal is what I have learned, so should stick to it. No offense taken, hope there was a joke at least in "baffled". |
