Good baffled or bad baffled?? LOL, good of course  Honestly I have no idea what the word I used exactly means, it just came to my mind when I wrote the post. The colloquial expressions are hard, I have no problems reading text using those, there is context after all. But to use them, well there you see, might get it all wrong. Astonished or overwhelmed would have been safer choices. And that is because the formations like taken aback, taken back, taken into, taken whatever f.ex. are even more difficult to distinguish and understand the tone of. I think my writing sounds too formal and try sometimes to use something else. Well, formal is what I have learned, so should stick to it. No offense taken, hope there was a joke at least in "baffled". No, baffled is a good word to use but it's more like the word puzzled or confused. If you're taken aback by something it's more like being surprised by a result or by what someone has said. BTW, your written words sound perfectly normal and regular. I think the written word will naturally seem more formal then the way one would normally speak.......in any language. And, I thought it was funny that they were surprised by the response they received. I wonder how many different sites have fans like us that ask questions and respond to requests. It sounds like a lot! |

Queen must be performing in some capacity. Otherwise, why would they make a point of saying they would be there? A ton of other stars will be there too, so no big deal IMO if they will just be sitting in the audience. They could be joining a bunch of other artists for one of those all star finale things though.

I am hoping (praying, really) that Adam is going back to LA! Want these vocals recorded and this album finished and more US radio promo, please!
ETA: Love the Katy rumor. But Adam did just tweet that the only guest vocal, so far, is Sam. I could certainly see Adam having his fingers crossed for a Katy collab and wishing and wishing! They have the same management and I think Katy would be willing to do it!

And WHAT are the Brit awards?I agree with Chunkey I'm kind of thinking if he IS going to the UK it will be for Queen interviews, which wouldn't be bad either. Can you explain what do you mean by writing and deleting "What are the Brit awards"? Do you mean that they are not important? |

What if his vocals are recorded? I mean we don't know it's not....and hey he could be there till after the Brit awards and be right back. It really is not gonna cut into his US promo that much. I mean Brit's are Tuesday....it's not like he can get a shit ton more of US promo done in the weekend MORE than what he has already done. Boy is hittin it hard...He could be back Wed/Thurs and work on vocals then. A few days is not gonna push the thing back further than it already is.
Plus hey when Queen news breaks he will have another great press cycle anyways regardless of where he is currently at.
He is an INTERNATIONAL artist guys. He is gonna be all over the place.
