In my dream world, Adam and Katy would record a dance song about a woman and her gay bff in which she laments about why can't my straight guy be like you...
Permit me my little fantasies...but who among us wasn't in love with a gay bff at some point or another? It's practically a rite of passage...

He could be flying to Austalia or Asia for promo. The single in Japan is being released 2/28, isn't it, and he has not had any radio promo there. In Japan there singles are still released as CD like in UK and Germany and I would expect, that in Japan the first week sales are important, too. So it would be a good idea doing a little bit promo there now.

Ugh. Kinda bummed no Brit thing. I mean at least it was something exciting to have while we wait in limbo. Oh wells =b Yeah cause there's nothing much going on right now & we're bored. Disappointing though TBH. REQUEST - Are their YouTubes of the NJ appearances - 985 & 943 the point? I THINK I've seen everything else! If these have been posted here I apologize. I admit to skipping pages today - not enough hours in the day despite what chunkey said. LOL

I feel the same way. Still think Adam is going somewhere else than LA. Maybe he's doing radio promo somewhere else in the US, but we haven't had any stations announcing that.... Could he be flying to the UK to work with Jesse J or whomever that "sekrit" collab is with?? Well at least stanning the man isn't boring! Jesse J has been in LA working with Bonnie. Oh!....well I guess we'll find out when we find out! LOL!

Promise..I am being a good girl here.. Not stirring the pot.
Adam's promo has me totally confused. Someone asked this earlier and I don't know if it was addressed. Is this leg of the promo for BTIKM and to reintroduce Adam to the public? It seemed like Adam has such great momentum going and now the album is pushed back.
I have no savvy in this biz..some of you do. Can BTIKM itself fill the gap until Mapril or whenever they release Trespassing? I understand radio play will be crucial, but this whole thing feels so wonky to me.
And where is RCA or Adam's management when these 'small' details are being released? Perhaps I misunderstand their roles. To have a delayed release being dropped during a random interview seems so...odd. Is Adam handling all his own PR too?
SO..I am not complaining..I truly am confused..thoughts?

What if his vocals are recorded? I mean we don't know it's not....and hey he could be there till after the Brit awards and be right back. It really is not gonna cut into his US promo that much. I mean Brit's are Tuesday....it's not like he can get a shit ton more of US promo done in the weekend MORE than what he has already done. Boy is hittin it hard...He could be back Wed/Thurs and work on vocals then. A few days is not gonna push the thing back further than it already is. Plus hey when Queen news breaks he will have another great press cycle anyways regardless of where he is currently at. He is an INTERNATIONAL artist guys. He is gonna be all over the place. YEAH that^^^^^

The first time Adam did a fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants performance we got the AMA's. ??? ??? Huh? That performance was choreographed and planned for weeks. Adam rehearsed the song and the choreography. He just didn't sing it well when it came to the actual performance and he added some "things" to the choreography. The AMAs were in no way a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants performance. [grins] I'll disagree w/ ya. Adam pulled that performance together (interviewed dancers, picked costumes, learned choreography) at the exact same time as he was in massive promo for an album put together in less than two months. I honestly don't know how he had time to breathe. He definitely "worked the AMAs in" while doing a billion other things. IMO, I don't think he knew the song well enough, was confident enough in the choro, or felt safe enough with the setup. Add to the mess an apparently horrific sound mix (per Monte interview) and I think Adam was trapeze flying without a net. I think Adam learned how to compensate better for performance vagrancies on his songs as he worked through all the original European and Japanese promo. Again, my opinion, but I think Adam just didn't know his material well enough for the AMAs, and that performance - and the off-the-cuff choices he made during it to compensate - reflected that. The AMA's are now old history. However, I bring it up as I want any future performances with Queen to be free of those kind of issues.
