..and I had such high hopes for decent merchandize this era.... You know, the heck with the rest of the Twitter questions. What REALLY needs to be asked / asked for at the next Twitter party is " Hey Adam, can you PLEASE get some female-flattering shirts on your merch page"??!!??!!??!! or " Dear Adam - knowing how many female fans you have, can you PLEASE get some baby-T's or other female-flattering shirts on your merch page??!!??!!??!" or " Adam - we love you and want to wear your merch. PLEASE GIVE US SOMETHING FUCKING FLATTERING TO BUY!!!" or something like that.  I thought the same thing when he said that he was involved with the merch....ASK IF IT'S GOING TO BE CUTE FOR GIRLS! |

But I think it would be rude to tweet him directly about it tbh. [pokes head back in] I don't. Merch is generally the biggest money maker that an artist has. Oftentimes worth more than ticket sales. It should be stuff that people want to buy. #nowI'mdone. |

Just got home. Did we get a Q102 spin? Q102 didn't have the game BUT Maxwell did give it a spin just before 8 PM. He has a countdown of the top songs so I'm hoping BTIKM makes it because it depends on the votes we voted during the day (I think) I wonder if the have stopped Takeover. They didn't do it last night either. |

I say put Leila in charge of the merch. She gets it. |

I'm actually sort of surprised...Adam has such great taste in his own clothes, at least when he's not going for OTT on tour. I say put Leila in charge of the merch. She gets it. We need to use our superhero fandom powers on this. We should make examples of modified tour shirts or similar shirts and use ALL of our powers to get the pics in front of Adam. The DJs are begging us to submit questions all the time. I bet we could get one of them (maybe a female DJ! or even female interviewers) to put the pics in front of Adam. Pics of fans wearing the shirts before mod and after modification would do the trick. Adam would want us to look good in his merch. |

I don;t particularly care much about his merch bc I am not a big merch buyer anyways...and don't care much about whether a shirt is female cut or not because chances are I'd only wear the shirt as a lounge around the house or pajama shirt anyways....I just think the overall design aesthetic is a little cheesy and cheap looking. But maybe we expect too much. It would be cool if the design was...IDK...less obvious and a little slicker looking. It's just so...it looks slapped together, not like it took a lot of time and thought. But I think it would be rude to tweet him directly about it tbh. Ground Control (apparently someone phoned them demanding a refund - yikes ) said that the "merchandize was totally designed by Adam"..... I CAN NOT believe that a man who's so fashion forward and impeccably styled would expect us to wear that t-shirt. It's hideous. |
