Well, MTV may not play vids, but MTV2 and MTV3 do.
Hell, I may not have cable, but whenever I'm at someone's house who does, I have to surf through about 9 music video channels.
Some MTV-"ish" channels **do** play vids. Constantly. 'Cause I can't seem to avoid them! ;D

Reminder about local requests -- You CAN request daily as long as the station has spun the song, even if it hasn't been added. There is no reason to only request from Q102 only 3x a week, for example, and there hasn't been for quite awhile: requestadamlambert.com/stations-playing/There are a few other newer spinners that would be great to encourage right now: HAC WLHT-FM Grand Rapids WJLK-FM Monmouth-Ocean KSCF-FM San Diego WXLO-FM Worcester, MA KJMY-FM Salt Lake City Top 40 WXKS-FM Boston Because of the syndicated Rick Dees spin I've noticed BTIKM on the mediabase forms of some of my other local HAC stations, ones that don't appear on the All Access lists.
Take advantage of this and as long as it's on their request forms, request away! Here's the LA KBIG one: mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=KBIG-FMIt's a great time to up our requesting game and give that little push BTIKM needs to get into Top 30 HAC. Adam's doing all he can, I want to do the same :D If you haven't been bothered up to now to look up ALL your local HAC and Top 40 stations (including ones you might not have heard of). Take a second and do it, bookmark the mediabase forms and request today. It's simple and even a few extra spins make a difference. Just plug the call letters into the mediabase link above. Just did my requests, and tuned into my local HAC station just in time to hear BTIKM playing! I often look at the mediabase chart of the songs played, and didn't get the feeling they were playing it very often. :D |
