And just now by daughter's boyfriend got here in my house and told me that today while he was driving to come here, he heard BTIKM to 3 different radio stations, OTHERS THAN THE ONE I'M LISTENING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!He said "No more!! I'm listening to it all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a great problem to have ;D ;D ;D ;D yay!! |

I was just looking at Queen's wikipedia page and I saw a great quote from Elton John. In 1997, Queen performed with Elton at a concert in Paris. The Paris concert was only the second time Queen had played live since Freddie's death, and afterward, Elton John urged them to perform again: "You guys should go out and play again. It must be like having a Ferrari in the garage waiting for a driver."
—Elton John, on Queen being without a lead singer since the death of Freddie Mercury. I think it's a great quote to share with naysayers who believe that Queen should have stopped performing after Freddie's death. Forgot the name of the name of the man who will join the DJ, but they will have a special secret guest. ... I imagine how it might feel for Adam to be the guy Queen asks for to sing with them for certain special occasions. I imagine that must make him feel pretty good. Yup. I also like to imagine his parents' and Neil's reaction to this. Do they still shake their heads in disbelief, surprised at the escalation of great things coming AFL's way or feel the universe is unfolding as it should and just overjoyed for him? |
