Lambert will appear with Queen at the Sonisphere Festival in June, playing alongside bands including KISS, Faith No More and Refused. Queen's Brian May said of the decision, "Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush." Lambert called it "surreal" to be playing with Queen, and said that he was "deeply grateful" to be able to sing in the place of one of his heroes.

Okay, so when I woke up this morning I was firmly convinced that I would NOT be going to this concert. It's WAY out of my comfort zone, and not in my budget, and etc etc. Well, long story short, I bought a ticket... brb freaking out  OMG OMG... JUST BACK FROM THE DENTIST AND TRYING TO CATCH UP AND NOW I SEE YOU'RE GOING TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  you crackin me up. I was thinking about that, did he ever think when he played Queen's music to Adam that one day he would be their lead singer. Actually, I wonder if they ever thought that their musical theater son would grow up to be a world-wide superstar!! No.. remember when Dadbert got upset when Adam told him, he quit his good paid job to be on AI???? heeeeee... |

I am so drained now from coming down on an insane WTF AM I DOING high. Ah, I really hope I can get he dates off without any problem. Since it's around a holiday I'd only need 4 maaaybe 5 days of actual work days off...I didn't take any vacay this past summer sooooo Imma have a nice chat with my boss tomorrow to see if I can get it approved asap so I can buy my airfare sooner rather than later...esp if I spot a good deal.
Excited...amazing show, meet some great people and get to do some sightseeing in London...yeah it will be sooo expensive but if I spend most of my money on airfare and lodgings and spend frugally on food and sight see with free stuff then I won't be completely insanely broke lol

I JUST BOUGHT TICKETS. I don't know if I will go, I don't know anything, but I had to buy those tickets. I decided before I go to bed that I had to buy them. OMGOMGOMG YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That's bc I was too busy having a spazz attack and talking to a million other ppl who are going on twitter.... |
