Okay, I realize that I am carrying a grudge against that bonehead Gene Simmons for being such a shit to Adam, but in rock world, is KISS actually considered to be...good? With the stupid tongue thing? P.S. I will say that Simmons did one thing right...his two kids are really awesome. Of course, being a snot, I credit Simmons for that only insofar as he had the decency to be gone much of the time while they were growing up and their mom did a great job while he stayed out of the way, but still... Can you imagine if Gene Simmons know who will be performing on Saturday night?? LOL.. He said Adam's ruining his career by coming out but look where he is know?? LOL And do you notice that all these US press sites say "Queen is headlining with Adam" only a few are mentioning KISS! ;D

I'm so excited for everyone that is going to attend Sonisphere. I was sooooo tempted to buy a ticket but I know I can't do it. I'll just have to be patient and wait for the Trespassing tour. Now how do we keep from exploding while we wait for Mapril and July 7th???

And now, after week of rumors, Adam has revealed that he will soon be fronting Queen again, at Britain's Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth Park on July 7. "I can finally confirm: I have been invited by Queen to sing one very special concert!" Adam tweeted Monday morning. "Sorry to be coy about the details the past few weeks, but I made a promise to keep it under wraps as best I could. Gonna be a surreal night!" The "Queenbert" Sonisphere concert will actually mark Queen's triumphant return to the setting of their final 1986 concert with the late, great Freddie Mercury--which makes the occasion even more auspicious for all parties involved. "Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy," said Queen guitarist Brian May in a press release announcing July's Sonisphere appearance. "It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush." Now excuse me, while I rush over to Yahoo! Travel to book my U.K. flight...In the meantime, watch Adam's 2011 EMAs performance with Queen, alongside the original Queen lineup's legendary 1986 Knebworth performance, below. I personally appreciate the fact that while Adam easily nails every single Mercury-rising high note in the Queen catalog, he never tries to be a Freddie copycat; he's always himself, which is actually the most respectful way he--or any guest Queen singer--could ever honor the memory of an icon as unique as Freddie (as evidenced by the amazing George Michael, Annie Lennox and David Bowie tributes at the historical 1992 Freddie tribute at London's Wembley Stadium). A f*ckin lot with no tour or band expenses and probably his travel expenses completely taken care of! [ b]IMAGINE HE'S FLYING OVER KNEBWORTH IN QUEEN'S HELICOPTER.. ROCKSTAR!!!!! btw... do you think Dadbert, Neil & Sauli's going to be there??? I think some of his bestfriends will go and see him perform...
I really hope Eber goes. He has to have been a Queen fan and it's not like he'll have to stand with the other 100,000. He owes it to himself (and Adam to a lesser degree) to go. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
