Interesting info about how much money these judges/coaches make. No matter what it was before, it's still A LOT of money. Just shows how valuable multi-talented people are in drawing in viewers. They have to be entertaining and well-spoken and funny and empathetic and knowledgeable and good with the contestants. It's a lot of things. I know I'm prejudiced, but I think Adam is the major draw on The Voice in Australia. Apparently, the show was dipping in the ratings, but this season it's #1. The other judges are good, too, but Adam has such magic. Interesting. I don’t actually think it’s that much money for the Americans. They leave their homes and families for about 4 months. Adam had also said in an interview that they receive a flat fee. So I am guessing their housing comes from that too. Of course, the PR in Another country is great. I just thought they would get more.

I believe the taping started in February. I don’t recall him going home after QAL in February. I also believe he was there through April.

Agree. Whatever Adam was paid (expenses likely taken care of) he felt it was worth it so he did it. A million added on to what he is already worth is a plus. Keeps him in the press and the exposure will help his career. If the ratings continue to be good, he will likely get more later. It looks good on his resume. And I'm sure he made more than he made hanging out in clubs and partying and taking pictures with a drink in hand and playing dress up with friends (exhausting).
