Love seeing those two guys react to Adam's AOBTD. Even in a small intimate setting, Adam can make a big song work. Glad these guys appreciate that.
phronni7, thanks for the heads-up about Fellow Travelers. I have not heard of it. It sounds very good! It will check it out if I can. I hope Adam gets a good leading role someday. Maybe Cabaret will lead to some feature roles. I think he's capable of handling it. Doesn't have to be gay-related either.
So great to see Mad About The Boy again! I've watched that video many times.

Thanks for the reminder phronni7. I wrote down "Fellow Travelers" at one point but could not find it at the time when I first heard of it. Forgot about it but Will look for it again.
Don't know Johathan Baily but adore Matt Boomer. He is so handsome and a good actor. He does not present himself as a "gay stereotype" therefore he is not so limited and is cast to play gay and non-gay roles, like Neil Patrick Harris. I have seen Matt and Neil on the red carpets, with their husbands, and they all look like class acts. And just as straight men can play gay roles, there are some gay men who can play straight roles and look believable. That is how you break down barriers. I really hope to see that for Adam too. He has been limited with his released music (pop/dance) but I hope there are more opportunities in acting for gay and non-gay roles, if he continues to pursue acting roles. Cabaret is his biggest role to date and a great role and I hope that will open doors and there will be more to come.
Loved Adam performance of Mad About the Boy. Nikita is so handsome and sexy. HA.

Glad you enjoyed Fellow Travelers, Phronni7...I have it in my streaming queue, but I haven't watched it yet. And yes, Jonathan and Matt are absolutely gorgeous. I've been avoiding shows that are too heavy this year...we found out the beginning of the year that my Mom has congestive heart failure and was told by the doctors that there isn't anything else they can do for her. She's 83 and it hit really hard for me, have been in a funk pretty much ever since her stay in the hospital. But she's doing ok for the moment, so I'm starting to relax just a bit more. OH, and I have Fellow Travelers on Paramount. I am so sorry about your mother. Dealing with aging parents is tough. We are about to move half-way across the country to live wit my 92 year old mother. We were supposed to move last year, but I got cancer and instead spent much of that time at MD Anderson in Housto. I worried about her so much, and am glad we are soon to be there. |
