Dear Atops. This post is going to be OT, so I'm sorry. I just have something on my mind which I have to share. Because of my school duties I'll have to eliminate my time spent in Atop to minimum. That means I'll be totally lost in a very short time but have no other solution as I'm supposed to finish my thesis until the end of an April and pass my degree examination. So it will be very difficult. I love this place and each one of you grew up on me that's why I let you know about it. I'll miss you very much, friends  Hopefully everything will go well if I do my best. Adam, himself is a huge inspiration for me regarding his effort in order to make your dreams come true  ETA> But I'll keep posting reminders to a chart  Hey get that degee, we will all be here when you get back. |

It’s a fantastic announcement for more reasons than one. I mean, Queen will never be the same band without the late great Freddie Mercury, but they’re still known to put on a great show, and with the amount of hits they have, it’s impossible to imagine one festival goer who doesn’t know at the very least a couple of their tunes. The talking point here is Adam Lambert, who, like it or not, is one of the only people in the world right now who share Freddie Mercury’s androgynous persona, unearthly vocal and theatrical stage antics.If you let bygones be bygones, then you can’t fault the bands decision to invite him along to pay respect to the awesome Mercury

Wow I am still catching up on all of everyones posts I might never finish haha. Happy Birthday to alison and vaivia have a great day today. And I am now still sitting in shock of the news what a monumental moment this will be when Adam gets to sing with Queen in July. I thought i couldnt wait any longer for the album but now this!!! When everyone said its Adams year this year they werent kidding!!! I also hope its his year to finally start winning some awards!!!!!! Congratulations to all of those who bought tickets and are going in July. I am hoping at this point it will be televised so we could see him as well. Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed the news this morning. Rumors were circulating for the past month that Adam was the new lead singer and that also they were going to tour with Lambert this year. What will happen on July 7th is on the 2nd day of the Sonisphere Festival, Adam will be the frontman for Queen. The event takes place in Knebworth Park in Stevenage, north of London.
