Dear God if a new single is coming like Mys*&@^#r thinks I hope they push the shit out of it...for crissakes throw some effin money at this thing and let him have a hit single while he is off playing with Queen. That would be truly epic! Coooome on RCA!!! Yes yes. A new single. I hope mys*&@^#r is right. And may it be Trespassing. Damn that's a great song. It would take the sting out of the pushed release date. How would the logistics go ,If BTIKM just started up in other countries???

and for those of you who can't get to the link:
LONDON — Adam Lambert has nabbed his dream gig: Singing vocals for the iconic British band Queen as they headline the second day of the U.K. rock festival Sonisphere 2012.
The former "American Idol" singer-songwriter will step into the late Freddie Mercury's shoes for the band's July 7 set at Knebworth Park in Stevenage, north of London.
Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed the one-time collaboration Tuesday with Lambert, 30, a runner-up in season eight of the popular American TV song competition.
The Sonisphere show marks the third time Lambert has sung with the landmark band, following an eight-minute set at the MTV Europe Awards in November to celebrate Queen's Global Icon Award, and a 2009 performance of "We Are the Champions" on "American Idol."
"It's great, they are the coolest guys, they are so down-to-earth," Lambert told The Associated Press in a recent interview in London.
"They are very sweet and just to be up there doing this music is such an honor. Freddie Mercury was a hero to me and his voice, his song writing and being gay, the whole package is amazing," the American singer said.
Mercury's final concert with Queen also took place at Knebworth in August 1986. But Lambert, who is also gay and theatrical, insisted he was not trying to take Mercury's place.
"I in no way am trying to copy or mimic or replace Freddie or do what he did, that would be insulting to his memory and to the fans that hold him in such high regard," Lambert said. "I just am paying tribute. I am excited to sing the songs that he wrote and to try to give them some sort of flair that he would appreciate."
A new single from Lambert's highly anticipated second album "Trespassing" – "Better Than I Know Myself" – is out now in the U.S. and being released next month in Britain.

Regarding the album release date -- it is not set yet. It will most likely be April vs. late March but certainly later than the original plan of 3/19-22 depending on market.
Since retailers already had a specific date, that date will still be around until they get a new one from RCA/Sony. As of this morning there is still no date.
Best I can tell, the date move was to get in the Bruno Mars-Adam song (although we know there are at least three tracks still being worked on). The Bruno-Adam track is now a likely single.
It also appears that they may release another single right before the album drops -- RCA is very slow to release new singles and rarely releases two before an album drops -- one exception was Adam's first album which had two singles before the album release.
My money is on a second single late March. Album in April. My wish is that they release a second single sooner.

melliemom - no idea. i'm just waiting for the music, the interviews.
i'm pretty content to wait till i get set on a date. Like March 20th. In fact, yesterday while I was making breakfast i was thinking how it was a only another month before the whole album would be released and I was happy. Cooking my sausage and eggs, drinking my tea, humming some Adam song, happy happy happy. No clue that the date had been pushed back already in some random radio interview that I have had no time to indulge in till today. And really, i should be napping as the babies kept me up again last night too! But I like to decompress with Adam news when possible, after a long shift, and there it was: Excellent news and not really bad news, just disappointing news. Now I have to go and rearrange my expectations. And figure out a way to surreptiously engage in watching many Adam and Queen related videos while I am an inundated with family headed to the coast this summer.
And I love him. Which is why I will once again find my special "patience" button and push it.
