I have a radio question. With the very slow buildup of BTIKM and many of the stations Adam's visiting NOT increasing their play or adding his single, is it very likely that the promo will benefit him for the next single? Q3, do you think program directors in the US are getting to hear snippets of his new songs and these visits are "paying ahead" for future play? I see Adam working so hard these last several weeks, and don't wan't it to fall by the wayside into wasted efforts--other than the positive buzz and contacts, of course. Yes, this promo will help Adam for his next single and will help sell album tracks and will help him a year from now. All the hard work he did in 2009-2011 are helping him now, too. The important PDs in the US have heard some tracks from Trespassing. Anyway -- RCA has a ton invested in this album -- they will do what they need to do to sell it. But the money is in the album sales not single sales. This is a long game. Q3... does RCA get some sort of "share" from Adam's pay from the Queen event or is it just all Adam's? Just curious as Adam has a contract with them .... or does Queen's label pay RCA?

The Queen Fan Club and Queen Fan sites are really Freddyie fan clubs. So it is hard for many Queen fans to have anyone take Freddy's place. George Michael got hate mail and negative posts even from George Michael fans about singing Freddie's music. Others fared worse. I think in total Adam is getting mostly favorable previews on this. Partly because the EMA performance was so good and not karaoke/not an impersonation.
ETA: Adam's management company (DMG) gets a percentage of his performance income, but RCA does not. Sony and even RCA may have some royalty share for some Queen music still -- but nothing to do with Adam, that is because they have contracts with Queen.
ETA #2: Fixed my typo -- IE!! (All y'all know I cannot spell!!)

I'm shivering with joy at the contagious excitement of the Sonisphere announcement and am absolutely GREEN with envy but soooo happy for all who are able to attend this sure to be once in a lifetime event !!! One thing I am truly amazed about (maybe I'm just naive ?) but where are all the "congratulations" from Adam's peers???? I was wondering about this too. no congrats from his peers? I hope this means that he gets all the congrats directly to his phone, but it does seem a bit odd. queen and on status the single.. To be fair...his really close friends haven't posted anything publicly but I'm sure have done so privately.

GUYS FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO A QUEEN FORUM AND START WAXING ABOUT HOW AMAZING ADAM IS OR POSTING ZODIAC PICS OF YOUR FAVORITE GLAMNATION VIDS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THEY WILL JUST LAUGH YOU RIGHT OUT OF THERE AND IT WILL BACKFIRE SPECTACULARLY IN YOUR FACE AND MAKE US ALL LOOK UTTERLY PRESSED. Just ignore it. We don't curr. We are above this. Who cares what some idiots who don't even know how to spell their so called idol's name correctly have to say behind the anonymity of the internet? Who cares what their pudgy, Cheetos stained hands type anyways? I'm sure most of them will eventually feel stupid anyways after seeing how awesome the show goes down. And the rest...well they can stay pressed. We get our Queen/Adam dream come true and they get to be bitter sad people who suck in every conceivable way. SO PLEEEEEEAAAASSSSSE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!!! LET IT BEEEEEE!!! I AGREE 100%! We have done our defending enough and knocked some BS right out of the park over the last couple of years but now Adam will knock it out of the park all by his little bitty self, Nuff said!!!!! He's got this!
