Interesting that The Voice in Australia will no longer guarantee that the winner will get a record contract along with the money. Just goes to show that the record companies are no longer willing to take the risk and investment, even with a talented winner. Seems to me that the singing competition shows as a whole aren't producing superstars like they once did, at least in the US. Apparently, the record labels in OZ feel the same way. Looking forward to a few Cabaret spoilers. I will not be able to go see it live, but I hope the reviews and audience reactions are good, esp. for Adam. Break a leg! I am also really hoping for over the top reviews. Since, i don't believe, photography is permitted I don't know how much in spoilers we can get. Maybe there are some sneaky fans, but wouldn't want anyone to be thrown out!

Interesting fun fact - Auil'i Cravalho is 23. Adam is old enough to be her dad. Wishing him well tonight. Certainly didn't look like it from that video that was posted. She looks much older, right? and he looks much younger. I checked out her age on google, I figured she was at least 30 something.

And but for a few exceptions (Carrie/Kelly) the biggest stars with lasting careers didn't even win. Adam, Jennifer Hudson, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, Daughtry, Camila Cabello, Harry Styles just for starters. And back in the day, Idol fans would have an absolute meltdown when non-winners like Adam and Daughtry moved ahead of the winners. It didn't matter tho it was just noise. Cause the labels will invest in who they want to invest in and who they find the most interesting and talented no matter who won. And lately they have not even been signing the winners to major label deals.

There are exceptions from time to time when something is really newsworthy (like Leah Michele in Funny Girl). I am not expecting any of the theater critics to re-review Cabaret, but you never know. there will pobably be some write ups on theater sites like Broadway World and TheaterMania and theater geeks will definitely post on the chat boards.

And the age difference only matters for some if they were dating, not performing, lol. They both look good and hopefully their performances will be just as good and they will get great reviews. Adam has a high enough profile that some will want to see what and how he does.

Well, even if there aren't "theater critic" reviews, I'm hoping to see and hear some positive comments about Adam's version of Emcee. I know Adam's fanbase will be eager to hear how he does. I really don't know a thing about Broadway media coverage. Just hoping Adam gets some buzz.

I am sure there will be plenty of fans in the audience this week so there will be lots of reports re how he does. And the theater chat board people will give their impressions too.

I am checking in out of curiosity while I am recovering from a broken wrist. I’m okay, no pity please. Anyways, it would be interesting to know how many fans old and new, who celebrated the Afters chapter with Adam, are checking him out at the Kit Kat Club as well.

Just caught up with the Voice. Adam's contestant Annie Jones reminds me of Allison Iraheta from his Idol season. I wonder if he's noticed that.
And as far as tonight's Broadway debut .... "Break a leg, Adam!"

Nice to see you here and sorry about your wrist. I broke mine in 2013 and had to have an operation. It's okay but definitely not as good as new! Hope you have a speedy recovery! Also I have no idea how many new fans Adam picked up with Afters. It seems the gay community has never given their absolute full support. I think someone here said the EP didn't do that well but I have no idea.
