(I’ve also seen the London production 2x in 2023 with different casts including Jake Shears) the queer touch was there with Adam and it was interesting how songs worked differently. I Don’t Care Much had a lot more impact, the first round of Tomorrow Belongs To Me had a lot more meaning with the makeup and the wig in the box. The entire cast seemed a bit more energized too, perhaps energized. And more chemistry all around i really liked Auli’i‘s interpretation, felt Gayle’s Sally was too intentionally manipulative and calculating vs a more innocent self preservation. And i thought she nailed the emotion in the title song, made me tear up. Also a lot more joy in Don’t Tell Mama and Mein Herr. and Mimi Scardulla as Texas so cool to see a big Cabaret girl! Definitely worth seeing this cast! MistakesNeededMaking 12h ago I saw it last night and it was fucking fantastic.

Loving the feedback about the show and esp, about Adam. So positive! Can't wait to see what Brandon Girouard has to say. He sounds like he's bursting at the seams to tell us.
Seeing Adam kind of lounging at the side of the stage is so sensual. His body is so lithe and fluid. He is so damn sexy.
