Nice theatre! But what the heck are these dancers wearing? I guess the pictures were taken either during the pre-show or during the pause. But never ever would anybody in a club in Berlin have worn these pants. They look like Bavarian leather pants, although I guess they‘re not leather. LOL 🤣 I just saw Cabaret last weekend here in Berlin. So in comparison these costumes look quite… uhm, unfitting for the place that this is supposed to play at? I know, it‘s a modern version ect. but please, this is Berlin and NOT Bavaria or Vienna. Unfortunately I can’t make it to New York, but the good thing is this way noone will see my puzzled face. 😜 I would say that most North Americans who have just a very general knowledge of Germany probably associate lederhosen with all of Germany. So now I know! Just like Canadians get associated with Mounties in red serge and maple syrup. They will be very disappointed, should they ever visit Germany. 😂Unless they visit touristic places in Bavaria like the Oktoberfest. I mean, in 40 years I‘ve never met anybody in Lederhosen - not even on my visits in Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
