It was a huge bonus that Adam Lambert and Auli'i Cravalho were playing the Emcee and Sally. We went early to experience the pre-show, but it was soooo crowded and uncomfortable inside. My mom has some mobility issues, and there was nowhere for her to sit. The theatre inside is bizarre. We did not want to pay for orchestra seats, so we were at the back of the mezzanine. It felt really far away as the slope was very flat. I'm sure it would be a completely different experience being in the orchestra. Adam was born to be the Emcee. He is absolutely mesmerizing to watch. Auli'i was also phenomenal and brought a really sweet vulnerability to the character of Sally. We all really enjoyed the show. I would definitely see it again. The stage door was fun - the cast were all incredibly kind and very generous with their time. My kiddo made bracelets for Adam and Auli'i and they both took the time to take photos. |
