.....maybe we could have one day where everyone requests from their local stations each week -- a show of force so to speak.......see if it makes any difference?

I didn't take yesterday's discussion as that anyone was questioning to request or not to request ... I think we're all requesting, but some of us (me included) were wondering if our requests do any good. It's confusing when you hear DJs say, "We're getting tons of requests" and then they don't play the song.
People in a position to know seemed to think requesting DOES do some good, which was reassuring. I think we all just wish we could do more to help!

Hi !!!!!!! Something good happened today !!!! As you guys may know , I live in Syria . AND TODAY I WATCHED THE BTIKM VIDEO ON MTV ARABIA !!!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR IT FOR SO LONG !!!!!! LOOOL !!!! AND AS SOON AS IT PLAYED , I CALLED MY FRIEND FROM SCHOOL AND SHE WAS LIKE " YES YES I KNOW !!!!! I'M WATCHING , I'LL TALK TO YOU LATER YAAAAAY !!!! NOW BYE " My God I'm so happy !!!!!! ADAM I*IS* AN INTERNATIONAL STAR INDEED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! Glad you got to watch it! Have you not seen it before? Adam's BTIKM #29 on 1Tunes.... better than I thought.. This song may be like" The Little Engine That Could" Really easy to vote now.. Adam's on the charts I just has a momentary OMG  thinking this was the song but it's the video, right? It's still good news but just wanted to clarify in case anyone else was confused like me. (probably not :-[ - I don't follow the numbers much!) |
