I would guess we'll have lots of questions! But I was also thinking that besides singing with Queen being a huge thrill for Adam, it will also be a tremendous learning experience for him. All the production and staging expertise he will be exposed to will be such a great opportunity. Will probably give him a zillion ideas for his tour - maybe we'll see more than "subtle" flames HaHa. I've been thinking the same thing. What a tremendous opportunity to learn from guys who know a thing or two about what it takes to to put on a show. I bet your right and Adam will be a sponge. Plus the fact that they are going to do some practice gigs and are looking on this show as a huge challenge and that after 40 years they are not content to phone it in is really nice. I think these festivals bring out the competitive spirit in the bands to see who can get the best crowd response. I loved the stoy in some documentary about Queen at Wembly? for a festival and when it was their turn the sound guy sneakily turned up the sound or something ( Kandadie??? See we NEED you ;D) that had been set to a certain level for all the other bands and they stole the show. I like that they are all going into this with a competitive spirit. Gaaa..can't wait!!!! |

I don't get how LMFAO has managed to stay in the top 2 spots on the video list for so long.. ??? ...cuz their song is a HUGE SMASH HIT worldwide!  I am curious about this too though. What sort of time period do the numbers on iTunes cover? Are they cumulative in some way? It IS kind of hard to believe that after all these months that many people would have a burning desire for the LMFAO video who didn't already have it, but I'm sure their overall sales are huge. Anybody know? |

Adamrocks, you know I've watched these Queen Wembley vids a couple of times. The Live Aid concert was just epic. Queen was at their best there. I'm going through a grief state here with myself of not being able to go to Sonisphere this summer. I am just starting to realize what an epic event it is going to be. After listening to Roger Taylor's interview and understanding how much it means to them, let alone how much it must mean to Adam. Well, I know I will come to terms with this in time but in the mean time  Aww...I know how you feel. Watching that spine tingling Queen video from Wembley just makes me realize even more what I am going to be missing not being able to go to Sonisphere. I feel your pain. I think that last we heard he was seen at a club in LA after he returned from New York. If he isn't in LA, he must have sneaked out. 8-) Disclaimer - I could have missed something, but I think that was the last sighting. |
