What IF.... The last time Queen/Brian May was an AI mentor for Queen music was Season 5... what if they invite him again this year and at the result night Adam will perform with them ... however it is probably not gonna happen because Queen/Adam will be busy rehearsing (or performing) in preparation for the big event . :D I don't watch AI anymore... but NO and a BIG NO!! I'm a Queen fan and always thought that NO body can sing Queen's song until Adam. And I don't think they like to hear people who don't have the voice butcher their songs. One thing I've noticed watching old Queen videos/interviews/concert footage is that they didn't take themselves too seriously. The music yes. but they were also goofballs when a lot of their contemporaries were all broody and too cool for school. We all know this is very much a part of Adam and I hope he will be able to have some fun on stage and show off this side of himself as well. The EMAs were totally fierce and cool. But it's got to be a challenge to know how to interact with the crowd when it's not "your" audience and it'll be so new. : Do you think there will be any thrusting/crotch grabbing on Adam's part? That was soooooooo much a part of GNT, but I honestly don't remember if Freddie EVER did it. There was split second during the EMAs We Will Rock You, when I thought Adam's hand was heading for his crotch, but it's like he caught himself before he got there. LOL (When he was down at the end of the runway singing: "Buddy you're a young man, hard man...) I mean, Michael Jackson was a MAJOR crotch-grabber, but I don't think Freddie was at all, right? Just curious!! Freddie didn't do it because he's not come out that time. He came out after he got really sick and dying. But to answer your question, Yes Adam's fronting Queen in Sonisphere but he is still their guest singer there, so out of respect to Brian and Roger... NO.. I don't think Adam will do the crotch grabbing! PS. The reason why Queen doesn't invite Paul Rogers anymore, because there's a bit disagreement between PR and Brian. So for Brian it's DONE. I think our Adam is wise and he knows where to do it where he shouldn't. And pretty sure he wants that invitation to keep open after Sonisphere too.  |

Ha, this is the Victoria, BC paper, the one we get daily on Vancouver Island. I usually don't read it much, obviously need to check that out! CONGRATULATIONS to all the Sonisphere goers! Awesome that so many are going. VERY jealous but neither my back nor my bank account nor my job will allow me to come. Hope you all have a super time, and I'll be hanging out with the Atoppers here to party! |

That would be fun but I think Adam will be kind of busy getting ready to go on with QUEEN!! 8-) I'm so excited for this! Now that I think about it Adam does like to arrive fashionably late or right on the cusp of events so hmm... he'll probably just do the Queen set and leave. reihmer.. you're cute... lol. but he's not in his own time in Knebworth. He will be in Brian & Roger's time. He will come and leave when these two decide the time to come and to leave.. ;D ;D. I think he will be flying in Queen's helicopter with Queen's members to the event.. |
