Ooh, I wanna play the prediction game, too! Here are my thoughts:
1) Adam will wear 3 necklaces!
2) He will have emo-ish hair and a sexy/hippy outfit. Maybe something like the outfit he wore on Ellen when he performed IIHY. He will have bare feet (okay, this is totally me wishful thinking, but it'd be cool, yeah?)
3) There will be no dancers, just Adam front and center and Monte nearby.
4) There will be fog (close to the ground like the finale MW) that gradually clears away. The lighting will be subtle and focused on Adam, like a pale-white spotlight. He will walk out from the back of the stage and sing standing rather than on a stool.
5) The arrangement will be similar to Acoustic Live, but more wistful/solemn at the beginning, building to a more hopeful tone by the middle. The vocals will be breathtakingly brilliant.
6) Behind Adam on the screen there will be images that illustrate the message of the song-- people looking alone and sad at the beginning, then doing brave things (standing on a diving board, idk, LOL), and then connecting. Images of diverse people (including same-sex couples) holding hands and smiling.
And my biggest prediction:
7) None of the above will happen, and it'll be freakin' awesome and I'll love it!
