that is sad and pathetic if true. I know there are many disgruntled fans of other idols who think Adam usurped their spotlight or overshadowed them or whatever but James is an idiot if he thinks there are more Adam haters than Adam fans out there or if he thinks those same people who voted against Adam in Season 8 will buy his music. See Kris Allen for reference of how that works out in the end. I honestly do not believe that James is "playing chess". He just made the Adam comments and now is trying to pivot to position himself as a classic 80's metal singer. In any case, my bet is that he will generate a lot of online stuff but Idol lasts too long for anyone who is not really telegenic and likable to do really well. this is so true Q3. Idol as much about the person as the talent and IMO that's one of the main reasons Adam did so well despite not "fitting the norm" of what AI viewers were used to. He was just so damn likeable and always just gracious and thrilled to be there and he exuded such joy. There wasn't an ounce of arrogance to be seen IMO. and LOL @ him likening himself as an 80s hair metal guy. He should start up a tribute band if that's where his passion lies because there's just no market for that on radio that I can tell. |

In preparation...  What is the chance of Adam sitting in the audience on Thursday? We need to have some excuse to watch the whole show to glimpse those extra seconds? Zero chance :( But that mentor week was sure a fun 2 shows, wasn't it! |

New for me: What the hell is Leila holding with the hair on it?! This was during the idol tour. It is A doll of Adam. The look Leila and Adam give each other makes almost teary. The connection is so beautiful. As A parent, I think that is what we all strive for. |

Don't die of the shock, but they actually have a special effects budget now!! And its more than loose couch change! ;D The era of dirt cheap, cheesetastic effects is officially over (tho' admittedly that WAS half the fun) Had to leave to serve dinner to guests but .... Whataya mean, they don't make daleks out of cardboard and spray paint anymore. Where's the creativity!!! Yeah, I know. The sudden lack of ping-pong balls is also disturbing. ;D |
